Disney World’s Minnie ear game has been a little bit questionable lately.

We’ve seen a couple of ear headbands that make us think that Disney is stealing fabric off our Grandma’s old couch. We just spotted NEW Minnie ears in Disney World that have a similar kind of fabric, but these ones are so. much. better. Take a look at the newest ears and see how Disney seriously stepped up their game.
The newest Minnie ears can be found at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom.

We’re calling them the Velvet Castle Ears, because the grey and gold color scheme reminds us of the Cinderella Castle!

At least, they kinda remind us of Cinderella Castle before it got its pink makeover…but we don’t need to get into that now. 😬

Like some other ears we’ve seen recently, the fabric is a velvet-y texture on both the ears and the headband.

And the gold and silver sequins on the bow bring it all together and make the velvet fabric look shiny and pretty.

Seriously, these ears are a HUGE improvement from the Grandma’s couch ears we saw earlier this month.
But why do they look like that?
They’re actually pretty similar in terms of fabric and style, but that’s just proof that a good color scheme can make a BIG difference.
