Alright, stay calm everyone. We know pumpkin season isn’t technically over, but, at least in Disney World, the holidays are here!🎄
We’ve already seen holiday stars going up in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, lights being installed in Living with the Land, and holiday decor up in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, another sign of the holidays has popped up in Disney World!
As we mentioned above, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has already started to get into the holiday spirit with the holiday stars in place on Sunset Boulevard.
But now, more holiday cheer has arrived. Over at Echo Lake, the Christmas Tree ornaments are once again floating along in the lake!
There are a variety of ornaments in different colors scattered around the lake.
Here’s a closer look at one of those ornaments in the water.
This is just the beginning in terms of the holiday decorations we typically see around this spot. We expect that before too long we’ll also see the Christmas Tree pop up in this area. The photo below is from 2020, to give you a sense of what this area typically looks like once it’s all dolled up!
We’ve already got news about holiday snacks coming to the parks and the resorts, details about when you’ll be able to eat with Mickey and Minnie in their holiday outfits, and big updates on the gingerbread houses coming to select Disney World hotels.
We’ll keep an eye out for more holiday news and share that with you. Stay tuned for more!

Is it too early for holiday decorations? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!

I think they should wait until after Halloween. That runs over Thanksgiving, but Disney does do anything for a thankfulness holiday. Its not as commercial.
Todd says
I love holiday decor, but Disney has continued to stretch out the holidays. Having Halloween decorations and parties in August is crazy. Sweating in 90+ degree heat ties in so well with what we all think of as Halloween! I realize it takes a lot of manpower and planning to execute the decorating plan, but please let one be over before we begin to see signs of the next.

WAY TOO EARLY!
What happened to the days of Halloween Ends and over night the entirety if the Walt Disney Resort is Transformed from Fall to Christmas decorations.
All between close on one night and opening the next morning.
Now they spend 2 months slowly decorating.
They’ve ruined the magic.

Halloween is such a great holiday. It shouldn’t have to share. It looks rushed and tacky. I realize they got alot to put up but come on at least wait til mid November.
Arlene says
Nope! Never too early for a little Christmas cheer! We all can use a little Christmas right now! My family and I will be there with God’s help on November 9th. Can’t wait to see the Gingerbread House at the Floridian again! 😊
Pat Sheon says
The decorations are nice…but…what happened to Fall? I used to love the Fall decorations…and the neat transformation at the end of November [AFTER Thanksgiving}
]. I loved that tradition. Just seems Disney is changing quite a bit.
Although, I am glad you will be celebrating the holidays for December. They will be still there in December? right?
Elaine Vogel says
Ridiculous! One holiday at a time please. Could have easily waited until November 1
