Disney Springs is one of the best spots to grab some food in all of Disney World!
There are excellent restaurants like Wine Bar George, Raglan Road, and Morimoto Asia, as well as a TON of shopping. One of our favorite spots for some good southern comfort food is Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. The restaurant is known for classics like fried green tomatoes, chicken and dumpling soup, and their famous Hummingbird Cake. But, things are getting even better over at Homecomin’, because they have a bunch of NEW menu items!
The restaurant posted on Facebook today about all of their new menu items that are now available! First up is a new appetizer — Gator Bites!
These are tender bites of gator tail, hand-battered, lightly fried and served with remoulade and house-made hot sauce for $16.

A new salad also made its way onto the menu. The Hamilton has romaine and mixed greens, heirloom cherry tomatoes, and pickled red onions tossed in a blackberry vinaigrette. It’s then topped with Tasso ham and lightly fried pimiento cheese for $16.
A Florida Keys favorite is now on the menu — Conch Chowder! It’s loaded with tender conch, tomatoes, and vegetables with a spicy kick for $14.
If you’re looking for some fish, try out the new Catfish Sandwich! This has a crispy-fried Gulf Coast Catfish fillet topped with lettuce, tomato, and remoulade sauce all served on toasted Cuban bread for $19.
If you want something a bit more on the healthy side, you can grab the Chargrilled Chicken, which was on the menu before, but it’s been changed a little bit! It now has two grilled chicken breasts served with a healthy potion of sliced avocado, succotash, and a cup of conch chowder for $27.
And, if you’re hungry for a hearty meal, try out the new and improved Braised Short Ribs. This fancy “pot roast” is made by slow-cooking boneless beef short ribs until they are fork tender. They’re served over creamy mashed potatoes with a demi-glace sauce, along with a side of succotash and a cheddar drop biscuit for $37.
There are also some new cocktails on the menu, like The Britton. The drink has Woodford Reserve Private Select Bourbon, dry vermouth, Luxardo Cherry Liqueur, and chocolate bitters. It’s honoring Britton Smith, an original Florida bootlegger, for $16.
The other new drink on the menu is the Woodford Blues. This drink is Woodford Reserve Private Select Bourbon, house-made blueberry syrup, agave, a splash of lemon juice, and a lemon twist for $14.
And, last but NOT least, there are now Whiskey Flights available on the menu! Homecomin’ already does moonshine flights, but now you can sample some of their whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes as well. All flights are served with their signature candied pecans and a spiced pickle juice chaser. Just ask your server for a whiskey menu!
Those are ALL of the new menu items at Homecomin’ in Disney Springs! We’ll be coming to you with a full review of these items soon, or you can make a reservation and go try them out for yourself. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food news and updates.

We have plans to eat there on Christmas day. I hope they have something special! Its also my husband’s birthday. But I noticed they took the shrimp and grits off the menu. My teenager had that during our February trip and said it was the best thing he had ever eaten! Was it not very popular?
DFB Sarah says
Nicole, I’m not sure. I know they tend to rework the menu now and again, but it does seem like an odd, popular item to remove. I see they’re offering “Bradley’s Grits” during brunch. I wonder if they could still make you the shrimp and grits if you asked… No guarantee, but it might be worth asking!
