When you enter a Disney Park, you first have to scan your ticket (or MagicBand, or Annual Pass) and your finger to get inside.

If everything goes well, you see a green light and hear a happy chime. In the past, we’ve seen Disney change this sequence on occasion, and now they’re changing it again…but only for a certain group of people! Want to know if you’ll get to see this next time you visit Disney World?
As of today, when Annual Passholders scan into a Disney Park, they’ll get a special new sequence featuring a new color and a new sound! Instead of the white and green you normally see, you’ll get to see purple and hear a new magical sound.

The purple color is inspired by none other than Figment, the iconic dragon from Journey into Imagination in EPCOT.

After you scan your Annual Pass, the scanner will light up with purple for a few seconds before turning green and playing a cute new sound. You can check it out in our video!
