When you’re in Cars Land and you are drooling over Radiator Springs Racers (which are totally worth drooling over), don’t forget to check out the fun little details Cars Land has to offer.
One of my favorite sights caught my eye as I was walking over to Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. On my way to ride, I got completely distracted by the psychedelic glow of Fillmore’s Taste-In. So much so, that I went over to check it out before hitting the spinning tractors!
Atmosphere
Fillmore’s signage is cleverly made of mufflers dangling from hubcaps, and his tent is just a “prop.” My guess is that inside is a storage area. The actual store consists of stands filled with what Disney calls “healthier” snacks and drinks.
Just like Fillmore’s character in the Cars movies, the Taste-In makes groovy “natural” snacks available to help you refuel and keep you racing! I was lucky to get to see Fillmore’s at night; the colors were spectacular, changing every few minutes (hence the crazy glowing food photos).
Beverages
Fillmore’s offers water, juice, and other Coca-Cola products like tea and Powerade.
Fresh Fruit & Veggies
Eats include fruit and veggies like watermelon, grapes, and pickles.
Guests can also choose from chips, trail mix, and other packaged goodies.
The cast members at Fillmore’s are fantastic. They wear tie died aprons and when asked to pose for a photo, they got right into the groove and flashed their peace signs.
Overall
Overall, Fillmore’s is a super fun spot to take a peek at. Even if you’re not hungry for something “healthier,” it’s definitely worth a visit.
The immediate area plays 60’s type music with the lights changing to the beat. The beaded “curtain” makes for a fun photo stop, and the details are spot on. It’s really a far out sight, man! (sorry, couldn’t resist…)
Are you excited for “healthier” snack options at Cars Land? Will Fillmore’s be one of your re-fueling stops, or just some great photo ops?

Grapes would be a fun healthy snack to take around the park (or to much on while waiting for RSR). I’ll def give it a go. 🙂 Thanks for the pictures. Love and peace, man. Grooovy.

I definitely could go for a carrots and broccoli with ranch or the grapes and water. This time last year it would have been chips and soda. What has happened to me? LOL I still like my sweets, but I’m really enjoying veggies and fruits so much more.

@Carolyn – I like how they come in a little cup with a lid too! Easy to carry and store!
@Marcelinna – I’m not sure if WDW carries coconut water. It’s new to Anaheim!
@Essie – Cool veggies are refreshing! YUM! Sweets are a must sometimes though, too! ; )
