Disney fans: if you’re looking for big news, this weekend could be it!
Destination D23 started today in Disney World, and will feature various panels that could reveal some exciting details about Disney’s past, present, and future. We’re LIVE at the event and working on sharing the latest updates with you, including information about the Dreamfinder’s Dream-Catching Machine (WHAT?!) and more. Now, we’ve got some exciting news for fans looking to tour a unique Disney spot.
Walt Disney Studios lot tours are coming back in 2022! During these tours, fans get the chance to see some amazing sights at the Studios lot (in Burbank, California), including Walt’s Office (which has been restored in the animation building), the Walt Disney archives, and more.
According to the D23 website, these tours will give D23 members the chance to get a “unique perspective on historic moments from Disney films, television shows, and theme parks.”
You can hear D23 VP Michael Vargo talk a bit about the tours and other events coming in 2022 below.

Disclosure: In nearly all circumstances, Disney Food Blog writers and photographers pay full price for their own travel, hotel, food, beverage, and event tickets. We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by Disney to attend their media event for Destination D23. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
