The Disney Wish is the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
The Disney Wish is currently scheduled to set sail on its maiden voyage in Summer 2022, and today we got BIG news about the entertainment aboard this ship!
The Disney Wish will premiere not one but TWO brand new stage shows! Let’s go over them.
Seas the Adventure
Seas the Adventure will be an original musical starring Minnie as Captain Minnie for the first time ever!
This musical will be about helping Goofy discover the power of imagination, and you will also see other Disney characters like Tinker Bell.
There will also be scenes including Disney favorites like The Princess and the Frog, Frozen, Finding Nemo, Moana, and more!
New The Little Mermaid Adaptation
There will be a brand new adaptation of The Little Mermaid with a whole new reimagined script and score, featuring the “journey of a young woman learning to value the power of her own voice.”
The story will have a young woman discover how she can unlock magic with her voice.
This will be a modern-day retelling, with new special effects, innovative design, and puppetry. We can’t wait to see how it turns out! We even got the chance to check out a special performance featuring a song from Ursula as part of the Destination D23 event!

Have been staying away from the Wish…. Little to kid-centric. I do love the staged shows though. Does anyone have any information about the new island stop being build exclusively for the Wish size ships. The 4 previous ships will still go to Castoway Cay. The Wish and the next two Disney ships are going to the new island, exclusively… any other news?

Ken, still nothing that I see on this, unless they’re referring to Lighthouse Point.
