If you’re in Disney World right now for the holiday season, you might think that the parks have skipped Thanksgiving entirely and moved straight on to Christmas.
But if you look closely, you’ll still find some hints of Thanksgiving around! There are some cute treats for the holiday, a little bit of merchandise (OK, so we’ve seen like one pin. But it still counts!), and even full-blown feasts at a few restaurants. And we just spotted a new photo opportunity that’s also here to celebrate Thanksgiving!
If you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can visit the Christmas tree on Echo Lake…
…check out Dinosaur Gertie’s Santa hat…
…and shop for Christmas gifts in the gift shops.
BUT you can also find a Thanksgiving photo op on Hollywood Boulevard if you’re not ready to deck the halls and sing Christmas carols just yet!
The PhotoPass photographers have a cute “Happy Thanksgiving” sign that looks just like a pumpkin pie (with a whipped cream Mickey)!
You can hold it up in your photos to show everyone that you’re celebrating in the parks.
As a reminder, you can get your photo taken by any PhotoPass photographer in Disney World and then pay to download the pictures later from the My Disney Experience app.
Or you can buy PhotoPass in advance and then have unlimited downloads of all the pictures you take in the parks plus the ones taken of you on the roller coasters and other attractions. PhotoPass costs $169 if you buy it three days or more before your trip and $199 if you buy it within three days of the start of your trip or once you arrive.
