We do our best to keep y’all updated with all the new things going on in Disney World.
We’ve recently taken a look at what’s new at the Disney World hotels and in EPCOT, but it’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve taken you on a tour of all the updates in Disney Springs. There are LOTS of new snacks to see, some festive merchandise, and a BIG event opening to cover. So let’s get going!
Disney Springs is the shopping, dining, and entertainment center located inside Disney World. You don’t have to pay to enter, and once inside you can check out some awesome Disney gift shops, high-end stores, incredible restaurants, and lots more.
Since the holidays have started, you can also check out fun entertainment like the annual Christmas Tree Stroll, with ornately decorated Christmas Trees around the Springs.
But we’re on the lookout for different festive additions: treats!
Disney Springs Food Updates
There are several new holiday treats in Disney Springs right now, and some of our favorites are at Gideon’s Bakehouse.
If you’re heading to Gideon’s, be prepared to wait for a while. The line can get VERY long (it wrapped around the surrounding buildings within an hour of opening when we stopped by), and sometimes they’ll use a virtual queue that gets up to a few hours long.
This popular bakery has HUGE, delicious cookies as well as coffee and decadent cake. They have signature cookies each month, and they brought out their December treats early so that we could get a jump start on the festive season.
This season, you can try the Kris Kringle Cookie (a white chocolate coffee bean cookie) for $6.
There’s also a Krampus Cookie (a dark chocolate and Andes mint cookie) that’s $6 as well.
To go along with your sweet desserts, you can try out the Krampus Cold Brew, which is Gideon’s normal cold brew infused with a chocolate mint flavor. This drink is $6.
All in all, we were VERY happy that we waited in line to get these popular treats. The cookies were flavorful and tasty (like always), and the cold brew was *chef’s kiss* perfection.

Over at Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew, you can get a seasonal donut that’s literally a Thanksgiving explosion.
The Sweet Potato Pecan Pie Mash-Up Donut is a big glazed donut that’s topped with cinnamon-sugar dusted sweet potato fries, crunchy candied pecans, and sweet-salty bacon, all drizzled with a marshmallow sauce. Whew! That’s a mouthful!
Like you might expect, this donut was very delicious and very sweet. It’s one of our favorite seasonal donuts that we’ve had at Everglazed, but we highly recommend bringing along a friend if you’re going to attempt to finish it! The donut costs $6.50.

If you’re looking for a festive treat that’s good for a hot Florida day, head over to Vivoli il Gelato, where you can find the Peppermint Cheesecake Cookie Sandwich.
This treat is cheesecake gelato between two red velvet cookies, topped with crushed peppermint candies. It costs $12.
Everything tasted amazing (and it’s a must-try for red velvet lovers), but the cookies were so hard that it kind of hurt to bite into them. But once they soaked up some of the gelato, they softened a little bit and we could enjoy this dessert.

You can find even MORE holiday treats over at The Ganachery.
This spot has festive flavors of chocolate…
…Santa Mickey Piñatas…
…Peppermint Bark…
…and Olaf Hot Cocoa Surprises.
If you still haven’t found a tempting treat, head over to Amorette’s Patisserie to see some gorgeous holiday creations.
Over there, you can get the Holiday Mickey Mousse Mini Dome Cake…
…or try out the Peppermint Eclairs.
And if you need something savory after all that sugar, the Polite Pig has a new seasonal side to offer.
You can get the Sweet Potato Mash with Maple Bourbon Butter for $6, either on its own or as an accompaniment to a delicious meal.

Now that we’re all full of holiday spirit (and plenty of sugar), let’s check out some new souvenirs available in Disney Springs right now.
Disney Springs Merchandise Updates
In World of Disney (and other gift shops in Disney World), you’ll see a LOT of merchandise for Disney’s newest animated movie, Encanto.
We’ve seen t-shirts, Minnie ears, backpacks, and more as part of this collection.
You can find a lot of this merchandise online now as well (including those gorgeous Minnie ears!).

You might not expect to find a lot of cute souvenirs inside the Rainforest Cafè, but we saw an adorable holiday collection there when we stopped by.
There were festive Swig cups, like this small tumbler for $32…
…or the larger thermos option for $34.
You can also get a big plush wreath for $47.50.
You never know where you might find some cute items in Disney Springs! If you stop by the Wonderful World of Memories gift shop, you can take a look at the Stance Holiday Pop-Up Shop inside.
This area has Disney-themed holiday socks, like this set of classic character socks for $49.99.
There are so many options to choose from!
Over at the Disney Style store, we saw a new long-sleeve t-shirt that’s giving us major vintage vibes. It says “Walt Disney World: Magical since 1971” with Mickey Mouse and the Cinderella Castle on the front. You can get it for $44.99.
The Star Wars Galactic Outpost has a lot of amazing souvenirs for the biggest Star Wars fans in your life.
This time, we saw a new Disney x Loungefly backpack that looks like it’s launching into lightspeed.
The backpack has a hyper-speed design on the front…
…and the shoulder straps have the iconic Star Wars beginning line “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” embroidered in the classic blue font.
You can get one for $85. Or you can take a look at the new kids’ clothes available here, including a long-sleeve t-shirt and sweatpants, both for $29.99. Each has a design from Star Wars, with the Death Star on the shirt and the Millennium Falcon on the sweatpants.
World of Disney is the biggest Disney-themed gift shop in Disney Springs, so you’ll find plenty of merchandise options here. We took a look at the holiday collection…
…and then headed over to check out some 50th Anniversary merchandise. We spotted a 50th Anniversary Cinderella Castle photo frame that we hadn’t seen earlier, which looks like your picture is taking place right inside the castle!
You can get this frame for $29.99.
At the Marketplace Co-Op, there were lots of new phone case designs, including one for the Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Marvel movie.
This phone case is $29.99, and there are plenty of other options to choose from.
Nearby, we saw some Disney-themed kitchen essentials, like a Mickey Mouse baking mat for $19.99.
The Co-Op also has little shops for pet accessories, art, Dress Shop Dresses, and more. But across the way at Pin Trading, there were a few new holiday items to check out. We found some adorable gift card bundles, which include a $100 gift card with a matching stamp-shaped pin to go along with it.
And over at the Days of Christmas gift shop, you can head back to see the Bowes Signature Candles store, which is full of scents (both festive and otherwise) for your home.
This company has a smaller stand over at Marketplace Co-Op, but now there are even more options to choose from.
And if you’re looking for a luxury shopping experience, you can head over to the recently opened Jo Malone London store, which has fragrances for you and your home on display.
Head to the high-end shops over at the Town Center part of Disney Springs…
…where you’ll find Jo Malone near the Kate Spade store.

Disney Springs Entertainment Update
One of the BIGGEST updates we have for you is that Cirque du Soleil is BACK in Disney Springs. The performance group has an all-new show, Drawn to Life, which debuted on November 18th, 2021.
The new show is about a young girl who needs to finish the animation project that her Disney animator father left to her.
There are 10 acrobatic performances by 62 different performers throughout the show, along with a lot more entertainment like juggling, unicycling, and more.
You could check out lots of merchandise before and after the show in the gift shop area as well.
Drawn to Life is a Disney World-exclusive show, so you’ll have to head to Disney Springs if you want to see it!
That’s it for our big update on what’s new in Disney Springs! Keep following DFB for more updates as you prepare for your next Disney World vacation.
