Are you spending part of your holiday season in Disney World?
If you’re headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth next week, it’s time to get packing! Well, we’re here to help. Let’s take a look at a weather update so that you know EXACTLY what to bring.
Weather Forecast
Last week brought us surprisingly warm temperatures for this time of year and guess what? The trend continues! Next week looks like it’s going to be warm and beautiful!
According to The Weather Channel, we are going to see hotter days and comfortable nights. You might even be able to skip the nighttime jacket depending on your tolerance for cooler weather!
December 13th
Monday, December 13th will bring us similar temperatures to the ones we saw last week with an 80-degree high. We saw generally cooler (and sometimes downright COLD) temperatures earlier this season, so it’s interesting that they’re generally warmer now.
That low is sitting right around 65 degrees. If you’re typically comfortable in the mid-60s, you might be able to skip the warmer layer this week. But, fair warning! Without sun and with a breeze, 65 degrees might feel cooler than you expect.
December 14th
The next day, December 14th will bring us another warm and dry day. Spoiler alert: You can get used to that! Those temperatures are gonna end up about the same as Monday’s. Get ready for 80 degrees in the day and 65 degrees at night.
We love to see low rain chances in the forecast. Fingers crossed next week will look as beautiful as it’s expected to in the predictions.
December 15th
On Wednesday, December 15th, the high warms up just one degree…
…and the low drops down one! Are you happy that you’ll be seeing WARM days on your late-fall Disney vacation? You should be pretty comfy when you’re watching those fireworks in the evening!
December 16th
For Thursday, December 16th, that high jumps back up a bit to 84 degrees. This time of year is nice because we get a LOT of sun without the INSANE UV rays of the summer.
Still, that doesn’t mean you’re safe from a burn! Wear sunscreen and reapply often to make sure you stay comfy and SAFE for your whole vacation!
December 17th
The week continues with similar high temperatures as the rest of the week on December 17th. We won’t complain about a consistently nice stretch of days!
There’s still no rain in the forecast, but that’s not a guarantee. Remember, Florida is notorious for sudden precipitation, even when it’s not in the forecast!
December 18th
Saturday, December 18th brings us another day of those pleasantly warm temperatures.
Here, we’re looking at an 83-degree high and a 65-degree low.
December 19th
And we’ll wrap up our week on December 19th with those temperatures sitting at a comfy and similar 83-degree high and a cooler 66-degree low.
Daylight Savings Time has kicked in, so expect your days to start around 7:15AM and end around 5:30PM. That gives you plenty of dark hours for fireworks-watching.
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. The temperatures are SUPER stable this week. We’re mostly looking at low-80s highs and mid-60s lows.
Other websites like Click Orlando News 6…
…and WESH 2 News have similar forecasts throughout the week.
Well, it might be surprising that December is giving us some HOT temperatures, but we’re not complaining! Just keep in mind that Florida weather is notoriously changeable. So, keep checking back to make sure you don’t get caught unawares.

How Should You Plan?
If you are headed to Disney World next week, we’ve got a few tips on how to plan for the weather!
Get ready to be warm!
It can be SUPER nice to escape from your colder hometown and head to Disney World where you have sunny 80-degree days. Still, heat can be uncomfy too! Make sure you’re staying safe and comfortable when you’re basking in those vacation temperatures!
We recommend keeping a cap or sunglasses handy to keep the sun out of your eyes and wear sunscreen to make sure you don’t end up with a painful burn! Plus, did you know you can get free ice water at most quick-service locations?

Get ready for the unexpected!
Just because the forecast looks like it’s saying short sleeves allllll week long doesn’t mean that’s the only thing you should bring. You never know when a sudden drop in temperatures or heavy shower might crop up!
One good option? Bring an insulated rain jacket! That way, you have one layer to help you stay warm if it gets cold and dry if it gets rainy!
