We’re just a little over one week away from the launch of Mears Connect, one of two bus services that will replace Disney’s Magical Express when it service concludes at the end of the year. The other bus service that will replace Magical Express is the recently-announced Sunshine Flyer.
Just ahead of its rollout, we are finally getting a first look at what one of the Mears buses will look like!
We caught a glimpse of the bus today in the parking lot for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The bus is wrapped in a crisp, sleek white color with a colorful sea turtle “swimming” along the side.
When the service launches, Mears Connect will bring guests to and from Orlando International Airport and their Disney World resort hotel, much like Disney’s Magical Express.
There are some major differences, however, the biggest one being that Mears Connect is NOT complimentary. For standard service (which will bring guests aboard buses like the one pictured), it will cost $32 per adult roundtrip and $27 per child roundtrip.
If you prefer a smaller transport such as a van, you can opt for Mears Connect’s Express service (previously referred to as “premium service”), which costs $250 for up to four guests. Each guest beyond that will cost an additional $55.
Here’s another look at the bus we spotted today!
