Disney Springs is home to so many delicious spots to eat, and one more will be added to the list soon!
Salt & Straw is a family-run ice cream business known for some super unique ice cream flavors, like Mushroom Ice Cream (yes!). While Disneyland already has a Salt & Straw location in Downtown Disney, it was previously announced that Disney World would also be getting a Salt & Straw location. Now we finally have an opening date!
Salt & Straw was created by cousins Kim and Tyler Malek. The business makes handmade ice cream using organic, local, and sustainable ingredients. In addition to Mushroom Ice Cream, we’ve also seen unique flavors like Turkey (yes, TURKEY flavored ice cream) and Spiked Eggnog!
And now, Salt & Straw has confirmed to us here at DFB that they’ll be opening up their Disney Springs location on…April 20th!!
The Disney Springs Salt & Straw location will reportedly serve flavors such as Honey Lavender and Chocolate Gooey Brownie, as well as flavors specific to Florida, like The Salty Donut Guava & Cheese, and Panther Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches.
We can’t wait to check out ALL of the flavors they’ll have available! Mark your calendars if you’re craving some extra special ice cream. And keep reading DFB for more Disney World news!

I wouldn’t get too excited. I’ve been to the one in Disneyland and the servings are small and the prices are high. The flavors aren’t really that great either.
