So…I’m not sure how I feel about this. I find it kind of humorous and kind of grotesque. 😉
“Goth Goodies” have been introduced for the Halloween season (I’m guessing) and feature your choice of bloody skulls and bones, or “haunted mansion” colored candy corn!
I’m hoping those skulls and bones are sour like tiny tarts. (I know; sounds gross just talking about it, right?)
I haven’t tried ’em yet, but I DO love candy corn! I’m eager to hear what you think!
I found these all over Walt Disney World’s candy stores, and I imagine Disneyland will have them, too!
What do you think? Would Goth Goodies be on your wishlist?
I think these look fantastic! Really love the name Goth Goodies – I’m sure it’s just for the Halloween season, although it’s interesting that they are already on shelves…and it’s not even quite August!
I have seen photos of a Madame Leota lollipop and a spider-web shaped one as well from Disneyland.
Amanda — Let us know what you think when you try them!
Christian — Ooh! Sounds awesome!!
Those candy corn are Blackberry flavored! Not a bad flavor, actually.
Excellent! My DD is going to love those! Can’t wait to pick some up!
While it’s entirely possible that those candy corn are simply regular candy corn in a new color, they look just like the ones that were available in the bulk candy section at our local Wegmans supermarket last Halloween (they were blueberry flavored)…let us know!
Boyfriend will love the skull and bones candies – I think 50% of the shirts he owns has a skull on them! I agree with you though AJ – thinking of eating something like that is… weird.
I was all over the Disneyland candy shops last week and didn’t see any evidence of these. My local Target carries all sorts of weird colored/flavored candy corn during Halloween. I wonder if Disney is just trying to keep up with the prevailing trends of the season.
I love the HM so I’d gladly try the candy corn, but I’d be disappointed if it was flavored. I like the taste of traditional candy corn.
I think the bones & skulls would be more fun if they included molars. I found a pic of the backside and malic acid is an ingredient so there’s some level of tartness.
Ooooo I love the packaging!!
