We LOVE Disney World. Shocking, right? But sometimes, Disney World gets rid of our favorite foods, which we DON’T really love.
So, what do you do when one of your favorite Disney World treats gets removed from the menu, temporarily or even permanently? You improvise. Adapt. Overcome. And you make one of Disney Food Blog’s recipes for foods you can’t get in Disney World right now!
Whether it’s because an item isn’t selling well or it’s not cost-effective to make — Disney rarely shares their reasoning for menu changes. Take a trip down memory lane with this opening day treat — the Orange Bird Flip!
This recipe makes a refreshing non-alcoholic drink featuring orange juice, lime juice, honey, mint, and a raw egg. Remember those Orange Julius drinks? It’s similar to that, but with a slight Disney twist! When you’re looking for a refreshing sip down memory lane (see what we did there? 😊), this is a recipe to try!

If you’ve ever been to Victoria and Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you know how decadent the food can be. That’s why we’re bringing you this recipe for their Stilton Cheesecake.
Fair warning, this recipe either makes 48 tiny cheesecakes or 1 giant cheesecake depending on how you want to slice it! And until Victoria and Albert’s opens its doors again, this may be the ONLY way to taste that little bit of luxurious decadence.

While we’re currently unable to have afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian, we are able to make the Classic Scones that once graced our plates as we sipped on Earl Grey.
Just a handful of ingredients and some elbow grease and you’ll have warm, delicious scones right at home!

Alright classic Disney World fans, this next recipe is for you! The Empress Lilly Riverboat was once docked at what is now Disney Springs. It has been made over a few times and was once Fulton’s Crab House, and is currently Paddlefish. But the lovely Empress Lilly featured three restaurants and a jazz lounge! While we can sadly no longer patronize the Lilly, we CAN make the famous Empress Lilly Au Gratin Potatoes!
This recipe comes from Delicious Disney: Recipes & Stories from the Most Magical Place on Earth. Deliciously ooey, gooey, cheesy potatoes will make the perfect side dish for your memories of the classic Empress Lilly (or just because you love ooey, gooey, cheesy potatoes)!

Fans of what we now call Disney Springs might recognize this recipe for Cap’n Jack’s Clam Dip! Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant used to be located in Disney Springs. The restaurant closed in 2013 to make way for Disney Springs’ big transformation.
This recipe requires zero actual cooking — and that is something we can get behind!

Did you miss the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT? Fear not! We’ve got a recipe for the Chocolate Peppermint Shake from the Sweets & Treats booth!
You’ll need some Twinings Peppermint Tea for this recipe, and delicious chocolate ice cream. You can make an adult version of this minty chocolatey shake with some whipped cream vodka, or leave it as a purely festive shake. You could even get super creative and splash in peppermint schnapps. However you choose to make it, it’s sure to make you smile.
