Happy 50th Anniversary Disney World! We’ve seen all sorts of delicious treats, new attractions, and of course, new merch become available for fans to enjoy during this eighteen-month-long celebration of Disney World’s birthday.
Today, we’re taking a look at another piece of merch from the 50th Anniversary that’s perfect for kiddos and adults alike!
The 50th Anniversary Express O-Gauge Ready-to-Run Electric Train Set by Lionel is a special souvenir that forms part of Disney World’s massive 50th Anniversary merch collection! We’ve previously seen this item in the parks but now it’s available online.
This train set is the REAL DEAL. It comes with a locomotive and tender, boxcar, chasing gondola, caboose, 8 pieces of curved track, 3 pieces of straight track, a terminal section, a remote, and more!
The designs on these train pieces are so incredibly fun.
They’re covered in 50th Anniversary prints and fan-favorite characters.
Whether you’re a big fan of trains or you just want a unique item to get to celebrate the 50th Anniversary, this could be a great pick for you.
But, here’s the thing…this train AIN’T CHEAP! If you want to bring home this 50th Anniversary train set, you’ll have to shell out a whopping $499.99!! Yes, you read that right — essentially $500 for this train!
That is far from cheap. But if this train is one of those items you simply must get to add to your collection, you can now grab it online.
