Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship is called the Disney ‘Wish.’
This ship will have all kinds of new experiences, including Marvel-themed dining, Disney’s first-ever attraction at sea, and a Broadway-style adaptation of The Little Mermaid. We’ve been following the construction updates as the ‘Wish’ comes close to its maiden voyage this summer. But if you were hoping to sail on the ‘Wish’ soon, you may have to delay your booking.
On the Disney ‘Wish’ website, there’s a new message stating that “Disney Wish sailings are temporarily unavailable for booking until February 8th, 2022.”
Bookings for this ship opened in May last year, but new bookings are currently paused until February 8th.
Disney hasn’t announced why the bookings were paused. It’s possible that the ship’s construction was delayed or is taking longer than planned, but we don’t know for sure why you can’t reserve your spot on this ship right now.
UPDATE: The maiden voyage for the Disney ‘Wish’ has been delayed until July 14th, 2022.
Scott Gustin posted on Twitter that the Disney Cruise Line’s call center is currently closed for cast training but is expected to reopen at 1:30PM ET.
Disney Cruise Line has paused new bookings of the Disney Wish until Feb. 8. Also, the DCL call center is closed until 1:30 p.m. ET for "cast training."
Hmm… 🤔
