Did you know that you can go to Disney World but stay somewhere that feels like you’re on the coast of Southern France? Well, you can!
Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of the newest Disney World resort hotel and is inspired by Europe and the Mediterranean. It has grand archways, lush gardens, and is located on the water. It also has access to the Skyliner! The Riviera is a Disney Vacation Club resort and has a variety of rooms, from villas to studios. If you haven’t been able to stay here yet, or are currently planning a trip, you probably want to know exactly what the rooms look like. So, let’s take a tour of a room at Disney’s Riviera Resort!
We’re taking a tour of a Tower Studio room that has 1 Queen-Size pull down bed and sleeps up to 2 adults. Let’s go inside! Here’s what you see when you walk in the front door.
Aaaaand the front door looks like this, in case you’re wondering!
Right next to the door is a full length mirror (an absolute necessity in a hotel room, in our opinion!). On one side of the mirror is the thermostat for the room, and on the other is the entrance to the bathroom.
Speaking of the bathroom, let’s check it out!
This bathroom is just one big room — it’s not sectioned off like some are in other hotels.
It has a HUGE walk in shower that’s just gorgeous, with a large glass door.
Inside, you’ll find both a waterfall shower head and a detachable shower head…
…as well as a bench in the back of the shower, in case you want to sit back and relax or need somewhere to prop your foot up to shave your legs (if you know, you know).
There is also H2O shampoo, conditioner, and body wash underneath the shelf in the wall.
The toilet is right next to the shower and has some extra towels hanging over it, as well as a small trashcan right underneath the toilet paper holder.
The vanity has a decent amount storage…
…as well as a hairdryer!
There are open shelves on either side of the vanity for more storage.
There’s only one sink in this bathroom.
On either side of the sink you’ll find tissues…
…and some more H2O products!
There is also a magnifying light-up mirror attached to the wall that you can adjust to use.
Even though there is only one sink, there is a decent amount of counter space….
…as well as a shelf under the mirror that you can set stuff on!
Inside the bathroom is also the closet!
Through the double doors you’ll find extra shelves, as well as hangars, an ironing board, a bin, and a luggage rack.
Inside here is also where the safe is kept…
…as well as an extra pillow/blanket and a steam iron.
It’s a pretty spacious closet!
Okay, let’s move back out into the room!
In here, there is a couch…
…as well a some blue ottomans.
These ottomans actually open up for more storage…
…AND the lids flip over to become trays or turn the ottomans into small tables.
On one side of the couch, you’ll find more shelves as well as a microwave and a mini fridge!
There’s also another extra pillow/blanket hiding up here.
Above the microwave, you’ll find some basic kitchen things like paper towels, utensils, plates, a can-opener, and a toaster!
A microwave and a toaster? Stock up your mini fridge and you don’t even have to leave your room for breakfast if you don’t want to!
But, you can cover all of this stuff up except the microwave to tidy things up.
These shelves are also where you’ll find your ice bucket and some cups…
…with even more storage underneath.
On the other side of the couch is the desk area!
Here is where the Keurig and coffee are located…
…as well as your phone.
The chair is large and comfy…
…and there are even more shelves overhead.
So, if you need to get some work done, this is a great spot to do it (especially with that coffee machine RIGHT there!).
Oh! And when you’re done with your coffee, you can throw away your cup in the trashcan under the desk.
There are some beautiful big windows in this room, planked on either side by long curtains with blue detailing.
You can use the sheer curtain to get a bit of privacy…
…or close them all the way to make your room dark so you can sleep in (or take a midday nap).
Next to the curtains is this fun Aristocats artwork!
And then, we have the door to outside.
Out here, we had a small patio with two metal chairs and a table.
We’re on the ground floor, so we have a patio…
…but if we were on one of the higher floors, we would have a balcony!
Either way, you get a pretty great view of the pond and the Skyliner station!
You also can just walk straight from your room to the Skyliner — how cool is that?!
This door is basically one big window, but don’t worry — it has a curtain you can pull down to block out the light!
Next to the door is the TV! A vital part of any hotel room, this is a smart TV, so you can do things like watch Netflix.
Under the TV is a small stand with another shelf.
On top of the stand you’ll find your remote (which is covered in plastic for sanitary reasons), and some information about Disney World and the resort.
There is also a combo trashcan and recycling bin under here!
Okay, we know what you’re thinking — where’s the bed?! Well, as we said before, it pulls down from the wall over the couch!
Once the bed is pulled down, a lovely Peter Pan mural is revealed showing Wendy, John, Michael, and Peter flying over London.
Next to the top of the bed, you can find outlets built in!
This bed is a fun and unique feature to this room, and can be a great space saver when you’re not using the bed!
So, there you have it — a full tour of a tower studio room at Disney’s Riviera Resort. This room would be great for a quick getaway or even a solo trip! But it is pricey, especially with how small the room is. This room could run you anywhere from like $350-$600+ a night. So keep that in a mind when thinking about booking this room.

Not impressed. My husband and I could not both sleep in a Queen bed. He is very tall, so we require at the least two Queens. Pull down beds also tend to be not very comfortable – how were they? I can’t believe they charge that much for a closet with a bed in it.

Before my husband of 54 years passed in 2021 we had stayed at the Riviera twice. Not in the smaller studio that you profiled, but a larger one that was fabulous. The next time in a 1 bedroom to have some of our family stay with us also. The Riviera is wonderful at Disney. Those gondolas you can take to Epcot are great. Ate breakfast at Toppollinos one morning and it was fabulous. Character breakfast. We let our daughter & her husband use our points to stay there once and have dinner for their anniversary and we were able to just call and surprise them by paying for their meal. My son-in-law is a real foodie and he was very impressed with the meal. At various times when others have been in town we’ve gone over and eaten in the quick service restaurant near the pool. That was very good, also. I now still have the advantage of living locally and just go over for something different to do and eat there. It’s almost impossible now to get a reservation at Toppollinos for breakfast. Tried this past week and it’s booked up for a long time.

Wow, that is a very small room. How much does that cost per night?
joe says
its ugly!
LK Turner says
Since it’s DVC, can you request more Keurig coffee pods, or do you bring them yourself?
DFB Gigi says
Hi LK! You can call Mousekeeping and request them to bring more coffee pods if you run out.
Kathie says
Love it.

Nice shower, but other than that, better rooms at other resorts on property. Also, Murphy Bed, really? Patio/Balcony is claustrophobic, Eve though it’s outside.
NJ says
I would not pay that much per night for a small room like that , with a Murphy bed . Seriously ??? I wonder whose bright idea that was ? I would want a nice comfortable King size bed, forget the couch and all of that storage space . Who needs all that storage space for vacation? We will not be staying here .

This was a great room. I was just in it this week. Its a short walk to everything. 4 minute walk to the skyliner. What is odd though in your video is shows disposable dishes however my room had real china. Not sure what we would have done if we would have eat two times in the room because they only give you 2 plates, cups, bowls, and two sets of silverware. There is no way to wash the items either.
