Do you have any Disney World Annual Passholder magnets?
Disney World recently changed their Annual Passholder program, and it’s been some time since we’ve been able to pick up Annual Passholder magnets in Disney World. Now Disney is giving us another chance with a totally NEW magnet design, inspired by the 50th anniversary celebration. And best of all, Disney World is making it easier than ever to pick one up!
If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder and you visit the My Disney Experience app, check out the Passholder Buzz section for news about your Annual Pass. Today, we were pretty excited to see that a NEW magnet is coming soon to Disney World!
From March 2nd to March 30th, a special complimentary 50th Anniversary Celebration Magnet will be available for Disney World Annual Passholders! This magnet will be available exclusively in Disney Springs, and there will be a virtual queue, so you don’t have to worry about standing in line for hours.
This new magnet features Mickey and Minnie and lots of EARidescent sparkles, and Disney Senior Designer Connor noted that there’s a “glitter effect embedded into the magnet.” Connor also said that this magnet is designed with “newstalgia” in mind, or a combination of new and nostalgia, with the retro logo of Disney World and the modern Mickey and Minnie artwork. Connor also hinted at future Passholder magnet surprises!
Before you get your magnet, Disney recommends that you make sure your Family & Friends List is accurate in the My Disney Experience app so that you can also pick up a magnet with a friend or family member who has an Annual Pass. You must provide your Passholder ID and photo ID to pick up a magnet, and it’s limited to one magnet per Passholder.
The virtual queue will be available on the My Disney Experience app beginning at 9AM on March 2nd, and you must be within 45 miles of Disney Springs to enter the queue. The queue could reopen at various times throughout the day, so it might be worth checking if you miss out. Once your time is called, you must get in line at Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories store within one hour, and return times will be between 10AM and 10PM.
While you’re waiting for your time to be called, you can also enjoy limited-time Passholder offerings in Disney Springs from March 2nd to March 30th! These special offerings include Passholder props at the Disney PhotoPass Studio…
…a Passholder Chocolate Covered Strawberry Marshmallows gift box you can buy at The Ganachery…
…and a hidden menu drink at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar! This drink will be called the 1st Class Ticket, made with Bacardi Tangerine Rum and lime juice, topped with Fever-Tree ginger beer and garnished with an orange slice. There’s also a non-alcoholic version, and both drinks will cost $14.
Remember, there’s only one (our of four) Disney World Annual Passes available for purchase right now, but you are able to renew your pass if you already have one. Keep reading DFB for more Disney World news!

They should be mailing these to all current passholders. Those of us who live outside of Florida can’t drop everything and make a trip to pick up our passholder magnet.

It’s kind of insane that the alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of that drink are the same price. Without alcohol, that drink probably costs pennies to make

Goofy should be on the magnet….cuz this is sure goofy!
I’m supposed to give my ID and passholder card to my Family member so they can pick up a magnet for me? I’m not getting it….and probably won’t be able to get our magnets either!

Why do they have to make everything so complicated. Just mail the magnet like always. People should set aside a whole day for a virtual que. seriously? If you live out of the area, have a job or other responsibilities you’re out of luck I guess. Another rotten Disney move imo.

I still haven’t gotten my AP magnet from when we bought them in October 2021 as new AP’s. They just kept telling me to send an email and it would be mailed to me. So, I sent 2 emails and still nothing. Now, we were just in Disney for a short trip (we live out of state) and won’t be back for months but now they have something in March? ? It doesn’t make any sense. I agree with the others saying just mail it. They charge us enough for AP’s, it can cover the postage!
