We clearly love Disney World restaurants! Maybe especially the ones at Magic Kingdom, where the nostalgia factor hits HARD. But let’s be real: some restaurants are just better than others. And if there’s one place that makes this fact abundantly clear, it’s Yelp.
While certain Magic Kingdom restaurants don’t get a lot of love (to put it kindly), others are hallowed ground in Disney World, and Yelpers love to sing their praises for their faves!
Table Service dining, especially, is a must-do experience for any Disney World foodie, as some of the most iconic dining spots are within a stone’s throw of Cinderella Castle — or literally inside the castle!
Let’s take a look at the TOP three Table Service restaurants in Magic Kingdom according to Yelp!
Number 3: Cinderella’s Royal Table
Taking the bronze on Yelp for Magic Kingdom Table Service is none other than that elusive restaurant inside Cinderella’s Castle! You know, the one most people aren’t able to get into?! Apparently enough Yelpers have made it in to earn it a solid rating average, though.
For many, like Michael L, it’s all about the ambience at this magical dining experience. “This might be one of the few times I say I appreciate the service being a little slower so we could enjoy the ambience of the dining area,” he says, and while the prices are expensive and reservations are difficult to find, he says it’s entirely worthwhile, especially for the periodic Cinderella sightings!
Lisa H. echoes that fandom, saying it was an “AMAZING DINNER,” and surprisingly reasonably priced! Her three-course prix fixe meal there was one of the best she’s had in a long time and “worth every penny.”
Of course, price isn’t a factor when you’ve got a mother-in-law covering the bill. Claudia M. had the time of her life, according to her five-star review, saying she normally doesn’t care for expensive meals at fancy tables, but since it was a treat from her mother-in-law, how could she say no?! From food presentation to service to location, everything is top-notch at this entrancing Magic Kingdom mainstay!

Number 2: Be Our Guest
That OTHER castle restaurant in Magic Kingdom takes second place as one of the top rated restaurants on Yelp! Like Cinderella’s Royal Table, there’s really no competing with the sheer awe and majesty of dining inside the Beauty & the Beast castle!
As Sue S. puts it: “Are you a fan of Beauty & the Beast??? Well, get thee to Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland!” We couldn’t agree more, Sue. She adds that the American-French food is excellent and beautifully plated, service is attentive, and the Grey Stuff was INDEED delicious!
The fact that the restaurant is even a hit with people who have never even seen Beauty & the Beast (how is this possible??) should tell you all you need to know about just how captivating and immersive Be Our Guest is! Although his movie choices (or lack thereof) are questionable, Jake P. still loved the restaurant despite never having seen the source material, saying the filet was on par with his favorite steakhouse and the castle vibes were worth the price tag.

Number 1: Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen
Drum roll please! The number ONE top rated Table Service restaurant in Disney World, according to Yelp, is none other than this Jungle Cruise-themed sensation!
Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen has hordes of fans, who flock to this Adventureland restaurant for adorably pithy service (it is Jungle Cruise-themed, after all!), some seriously impressive and adventurous eats, and one of the only alcohol options in the park!
Angelica T. is a Skipper Canteen super fan, giving it TWO five-star reviews in less than a year. While the food isn’t necessarily the MAIN draw (“it’s theme park food after all”), for her it’s all about the vibe. “For us, this place is a hidden treasure. It’s so much fun!” She goes on to say that the servers are super fun and “pun-ny,” the theming is enchanting, and the breading on the chicken is phenomenal.
But even IF this is technically “theme park” food, the restaurant still has plenty of foodie fans, like Rebecca R. “I was expecting to get basic theme park food, but the restaurant blew me away with their attention to detail and quality of food,” she says.
Another enthusiastic Yelper, Robert K., summarizes our thoughts perfectly: “This Place Never Gets Old And Never Fails To Frequent The Ends Of My Taste Buds.” Amen, Robert!
We can’t say we’re super surprised by these results — but do keep in mind that these are just the ideas of some and your experiences may be totally different. We are passionate about Disney food and enjoy all three of these locations. But we won’t hesitate to say that many of the options listed above are pricey or have missed the mark from time to time. Take a look at the menu and our reviews to make a decision on whether yo you should make a reservation to these places! Wants and needs will be different for everyone visiting Magic Kingdom. So you will want to do some research to see what option is best for YOU!
It’s good to see we’re not alone in our undying love for some of Magic Kingdom’s most BELOVED Table Service restaurants!

I agree tremendously with Skipper’s Canteen being #1. Be Our Guest is very good for dinner, but it is expensive. Never been to Cinderella’s. I feel Liberty Tree Tavern doesn’t get love because the food is simple. While Liberty Tree may be basic, it is well done.

Once I started visiting Skipper Canteen, I realized it was one of the most under the radar and under-appreciated dining venues in the parks. It is far superior to any other table service restaurant in Magic Kingdom. The servers are a blast and food is good quality. It is the perfect place in Magic Kingdom to get off your feet at lunch, sit back and enjoy. Let the masses go to the Royal Table and Be Our Guest.

haha thankfully I’ve been in all three. I would say Cinderella had the weakest food, but as it’s character dining I mind less. I just wish I’d been less shy/more aware I could take photos, as I only got pics of 3 of the 4 who came to my table, and not Snow White (who had the most memorable remarks, lol).
The Skipper’s Canteen was so good it made me annoyed I literally had never heard of it. For some reason I’d always skipped it in my guidebooks AND I walked by it a ton of times on my way to “the other stuff” and figured it was just another quick-dining place. When I finally got in I realized it was the most well-themed restaurant in all of WDW and had SO MUCH to look at!
