A BIG thing that could seriously impact your Disney World trip thankfully WON’T affect Annual Passholder previews of EPCOT’s brand NEW Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride.
This morning, registration for Annual Passholder (“AP”) previews of this ride became available. If you’re an AP, you likely tapped away quickly to make sure you grabbed a spot. But what about making a Park Pass reservation for the day of your preview? Well, we’ve got an update on that.
As we mentioned above, earlier this morning, Annual Passholders were able to sign up for their special previews of EPCOT’s newest ride — the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster. The previews were available for May 8th through the 10th, May 15th and 16th, and May 18th through the 21st.
But, Park Passes for ALL of those dates have now filled up for Incredi Pass holders, as well as other passholder types. So what now?
Well, there’s no need to fret! Disney has confirmed that Annual Passholders do NOT need to make a separate theme park reservation (a.k.a. Park Pass) to enter EPCOT on the day of their preview.
But, Passholders will need valid admission to EPCOT for that date, and applicable Passholder block out dates do apply.
So, for example, Pixie Dust Pass holders are blocked out on the 8th, 15th, and 21st. That would restrict their ability to go to a preview on any of those dates.
This is similar to the situation that took place with the previews for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, where Passholders were not required to make a Park Pass to enter on the day of their preview.
So if you’re an AP and have registered for your preview date, be sure to keep these rules in mind. And remember that the ride will open to all guests on May 27th! We’ll continue to look for more updates and let you know what we find!

I have it reserved on the 20th between 4pm-430pm. can I get to Epcot at any time? or it has to be close to the preview time?
Jacob says
This system broke the genie+ system… dont buy it! You have no initial park so you cant make a reservation before 2pm at any park. Disney is aware and isn’t fixing the problem. They said it will be an issue for all annual passholder previews
