As the weather heats up in Disney World, we’re always keeping an eye out for ice-cold treats to help us keep our cool.
And trust us — there is no shortage of delicious and refreshing snacks throughout Disney that can really hit the spot on a hot summer day. From Dole Whips and Mickey Premium Bars to shaved ice and milkshakes, you can find it all. We recently tried some new eats in Disney Springs that just might be the perfect way to have your ice-cold dessert and eat it, too! But which one was our favorite of them all?!
We popped on over to Disney Springs recently to see what was new at Marketplace Snacks and were delighted to see some new Mickey Bubble Waffle Sundaes! We decided we HAD to try them all. You know, for science — so we decided to rank them too!
5. Mickey Cookie Waffle Sundae
We tried the Mickey Cookie Waffle Sundae — it’s made with vanilla soft-serve, hot fudge, cookie crumbles, and white chocolate chip pearls in a Mickey bubble waffle for $8.99.
It was so, so refreshing in the middle of a hot summer day, and the chocolate from the cookie crumbles and hot fudge weren’t too overpowering.
The bubble waffle was by far our favorite part, though. It was crisp, light, and slightly sweet. But, it is Central Florida so this sundae started melting pretty much immediately.

4. Minnie Sweet Strawberry Waffle Sundae
Strawberry lovers, this next sundae is for you! The Minnie Sweet Strawberry Waffle Sundae is an absolutely refreshing delight. Vanilla soft serve and strawberry topping are combined with sliced strawberries and white chocolate pearl crisps.
Remember those strawberry cream candies from the early 2000s? This is the ice cream sundae version of that. This is the lightest of all the waffle sundaes since there’s no richness from any chocolate here.
We do wish this was made with homestyle strawberry ice cream instead of soft-serve, but it was still enjoyable and would be a great option for strawberry fans. At $8.99, this sundae doesn’t seem as great of a value due to the lack of toppings like the others, too!
3. Pluto Peanut Butter Waffle Sundae
Oh, did you think we were done with bubble waffle sundaes? We’re not, and next up is the Pluto Peanut Butter Waffle Sundae made with chocolate soft-serve, chocolate-covered pretzels, peanut butter sauce, and chocolate chip pearls.Â
This sundae is also $8.99, and it is absolutely loaded with toppings! If you’re a chocolate-peanut butter fan, this is the waffle sundae of your dreams. It is extremely sweet, though, thanks to all of the chocolate which can get to be overwhelming after a while.
This would be a good one to split based on the amount of toppings you get, as we found it hard to finish on our own. If you like fruity desserts, move along as there is but one lone piece of fruit on this sundae (do maraschino cherries even count as fruit?)!
2. Donald Lemon and Blueberry Waffle Sundae
We need to talk about this absolute banger of a summer treat — the Donald Lemon and Blueberry Waffle Sundae. When we say summertime treat we mean it — this sundae tastes like a picnic. It was light and refreshing, but for $8.99Â we wish there was a little more to it.
It’s made with vanilla soft-serve, lemon curd, blueberries, and popping candy. If you like lemon curd, you’re going to love this sundae. The combination of the lemon curd with the vanilla ice cream is remarkable, and when you get a bite with a blueberry the whole dessert comes together.
We did get a few less than stellar blueberries on top which detracted from how delicious every other bite was. For a sweet and tart dessert that’s a flavor combo you don’t often find around Disney World, this could be just the thing.
1. Goofy Peanut Grand Waffle Sundae
We need to talk about the Goofy Peanut Grand Waffle Sundae, because this thing is NUTS. Mostly because it has peanuts on it, but also because there is A LOT going on here. Vanilla and chocolate soft-serve come together with hot fudge, peanuts, sliced bananas, sliced strawberries, mini M&M’S, and a cherry.Â
This is THE dessert for peanut and banana lovers, as those were the main flavor profiles we tasted. It was pretty sweet overall thanks to the hot fudge, and there was almost too much going on. The waffle itself was our favorite part, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t sad when this thing started to melt as soon as we got it.
If you’re looking for a little bit of everything in your desserts, this is definitely the one for you. The peanuts and M&M’S added a nice crunch, and for $8.99 this would make for an inexpensive shareable snack!
If you don’t like fruity treats or peanuts and bananas you’ll probably want to skip the Goofy Peanut Grand Waffle Sundae.
Whatever flavors you’re into, there’s probably a bubble waffle sundae at Marketplace Snacks for everyone! For the latest Disney snack news and more, be sure to stay tuned to DFB.
