This is THE week for Star Wars announcements.
But it’s not just about Star Wars TV shows, movies, and video games. We’re also getting some updates about what’s coming soon to Disney Parks, as well as what’s coming to Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, the Disney Wish. We previously told you about the Wish’s ‘Star Wars’-themed Hyperspace Lounge, but now we’ve got even MORE details!
The Hyperspace Lounge on the Disney Wish will be a brand new experience that will offer “otherworldly concoctions” to guests, as well as interactive tasting experiences in a lounge inspired by Dryden Vos’ ship in Solo: A Star Wars Story. We’ve already seen some behind-the-scenes footage of how the space was designed, which includes windows that look out over space in a galaxy far, far away.
Well, during a panel at Star Wars Celebration, we learned a little bit more about what guests can expect in the lounge — and it’s all about how cocktails will be delivered. It seems like cocktails will arrive in camtonos — those cylindrical boxes that look like ice cream makers.
The panel shared that the camtonos are still in the works and have not been finalized yet — this first look that they shared is of a prototype they have been working with!
The camtonos will open up to reveal the cocktail — pretty cool, right? So hopefully we’ll see this on the Disney Wish when the ship sets sail later this year!
Leave it to Disney to come up with an extra fun detail for guests. The Disney Wish will set sail from Port Canaveral, FL, starting on July 14th for 3-4 night cruises to Nassau and Disney’s Castaway Cay. The Hyperspace Lounge is only one of the unique experiences guests will get to have on board — there’s also a Frozen theatrical dining experience, as well as an interactive Marvel dining experience. A little something for everyone!
We’ll continue to cover ALL the Star Wars news coming out this weekend, as well as keep you updated on all things about the Disney Wish, so stay tuned to DFB for more!

Cool looking drink idea. Bad idea in practice. Will make ordering that drink with a huge manpower cost overhead. So either they price it accordingly or they’ll start cutting corners pretty quickly. Even if they don’t price it according to the cost to make, the local bartenders will eventually start to cut corners on the drink and just hand people the drink and the container separately when they have more than 2 guests waiting for service. Disney seems to only want to learn things the hard way when it comes to their Star Wars interactive offerings.

The story behind the Camtono is one of the best things to come out of Star Wars! I can hardly wait to cruise on the Wish to partake in the next level of the ultimate dad joke meets deep reference meets fan fiction.

Why couldn’t they just make it appear in a mist of smoke or in the “Food-a-rack-a-cycle” on the Jetsons. That would have been just as cool
