What good is it to save if you can’t get a reservation for the park(s)? Thanks to the two different reservations calendars Disney uses (one for pass holders and one for single day tickets), pass holders are often blocked out due to sold out/booked up days even though many single day tickets ares still available.
I’m not talking about “blackout” days, I’m talking about regular open days that reservations are booked up for pass holders only. This is why Disney is being sued by pass holders. We accept blackout days, but to block reservations on non-blackout days when there are still single day tickets available is unacceptable and basically a rip-off.

Totally agree. I spend a lot of money every month on my Season Pass and yet I am blocked from certain parks due to no availability. Just not right.

The logistics of a Disney vacation, even for Florida residents, is getting too complicated. We (Grandpa and Grandma) are AP holders and couldn’t get reservations for any parks on the days the kids reserved. They flew in. We picked them up and dropped them off at the park, and saw very little of them on our special days. Fortunately, Universal and Disney Springs gave us a few days together. Not the Disney experience we used to have.
