Since the parks began a phased reopening in 2020, experiences have slowly been returning to Disney World.
One of the most recent announcements is that the Harmony Barber Shop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique would finally be reopening. While a specific date hasn’t been announced for the reopening of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Disney did share that the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom will open its doors once again on July 31st! Now, we have a look at some updated pricing information for the barber shop.
The Harmony Barber Shop is a full service shop that offers beard trims, haircuts for both adults and children, and the popular “My First Haircut” experience, which is when a child receives their first haircut along with a commemorative pair of Mickey ears, an official milestone certificate, and a keepsake lock of hair.
Let’s take a look at the pricing:
- Adult Haircut — starts at $21
- Child’s Haircut — starts at $20
- My First Haircut experience — starts at $28
- Beard Trim — starts at $8
These prices have all increased by a few dollars since the barber shop closed, with the most dramatic change being the My First Haircut experience, which increased by $3 from $25 to $28.
You can start booking reservations for the Harmony Barber Shop online on the Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience app today. Reservations are highly recommended, though a limited number of walk-in spaces will be available each day on a first-come, first-serve basis. Much like dining reservations, a $10 no-show charge will be applied to any guest who does not arrive to their appointment or cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.
This isn’t the only place you can get your hair done in Disney World! There are several other full service salons throughout the property at several Disney World hotels. These hotels include Coronado Springs Resort, Yacht & Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
If you’re interested in any of the salon experiences available at the Disney hotels, you can make a reservation by calling 407-WDW-SPAS.
