There are NEW Disney experiences you’ve never EVER seen before, and we’re about to take you into one of them.
The Disney Wish — Disney’s newest cruise ship — is just weeks away from its maiden voyage, but we got the chance to step aboard and explore the entire ship during a media preview. While there are some spaces in the Wish that you might recognize from other ships, there are also many spots that are brand new. We’re about to take you into one of those right now!
A Star Wars Lounge, a Marvel dining experience, and a Frozen dinner show — the Disney Wish truly has it all! One of the brand NEW event/entertainment spaces on the Wish is a spot called “Luna.” You’ll find Luna over on Deck 4, with a balcony on Deck 5.
As you might have guessed from the name, Luna is themed to the Disney and Pixar short La Luna.
Look carefully and you’ll spot a “celestial design” incorporated into this entertainment spot, details from the short, and perhaps even a few characters!
So just what is Luna? Well, it’s an entertainment spot that transforms from daytime to nighttime. During the day, it’ll be a setting that’s perfect for family fun! There will be all kinds of things for families to do together here during the day, so you’ll want to check that Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see just what kinds of activities they’re offering during your trip.
But at night, this spot will transform into an elegant spot for adult-exclusive entertainment. There will be live shows, a full-service bar, and more for the older crowd to enjoy once the sun sets.
The space has a two-story LED screen wall, making it PERFECT for shows and special events. It’ll especially come into play with the interactive game only guests on the Wish can play — “Disney Uncharted Adventure.” The live grand finale for the game will be held in this space and it’s something that fans won’t want to miss.
There will also be different themed nights here, like a Villains Game Night, where guests will have to try to answer Disney trivia questions “amid the jeers and sneers of nefarious Disney foes, including Cruella de Vil, Gaston, Hades, Maleficent, and more, who will join on screen.”
In another experience called the “Disney Songbook” you’ll get the chance to belt out some Disney tunes for a LIVE camera crew. And yes, you guessed it, your performance will be projected onto the BIG SCREEN. Get ready for that STAR moment!
As you can see, there’s pretty spacious seating in this spot, including some balcony seating that’s a bit more intimate (including some semi-private booths), and seating with little tables on the “ground” floor.
In terms of drinks, as we mentioned above, Luna has a full-service bar. Here’s a peek at the menu! There’s a selection of beers on tap, cocktails, mead, wine, pub grub, and even dessert.
There are a variety of beers on tap, along with beer specials like buy 5 get 1 free. There are three cocktails to choose from, mead, wines by the glass, and specialty beers too.
Pub grub includes some of your basic bar food, such as Buffalo Wings, a German pretzel, Fish and Chips, and even plant-based Chicken Tenders, among a few other options! For dessert, get the Sherry Trifle or Brioche Bread and Butter Pudding.
Throughout Luna there are pieces of decor that reference La Luna, like this selection of artwork…
…and even the ceiling features constellations!
And that’s a look at Luna! It’s a multi-use space that could be a great spot for families, adults, and everyone in between.

Is that the menu for the venue? It looks exactly like the menu for Keg & Compass. If so, pretty cheap of DCL to do that.
Melissa says
Isn’t that the menu for the pub onboard?? It doesn’t look themed to La Luna.
