Things are constantly changing in Disney World, and now a fan-favorite attraction has changed in a BIG way.
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is a favorite of many guests, but it’s also a ride that breaks down often and can be somewhat unreliable. If this ride is one of your must-dos and you’re emotionally attached to the most recent version of the dialogue, we have some big news!
The dialogue on the PeopleMover has CHANGED! There is now a NEW narration on this ride. 😮
Here’s a peek at the BRAND new dialogue on the PeopleMover featuring ORAC as your narrator! It now talks about transferring to the green and red line and how the express train “keeps on rolling to the future.”

There’s also a new portion near the end where the narrator tells all “sentient life forms” that the PeopleMover journey has come “full orbit.” The narrator then gives a little shout-out to The Best Time of Your Life song that was utilized at one point in time for Carousel of Progress! Specifically, the narrator says “now is the time, now is the best time” to go out and explore tomorrow today. The song featured the lyric “now is the time, now is the best time, now is the best time of your life.”
It must actually be the future now 👀 The entire narration on the PeopleMover has been UPDATED 🔊 pic.twitter.com/UEVSTld6fb

Wow.
That will fix everything, huh?
They probably edited the sound footage from a long dead announcer so they wouldn’t have to pay anyone.
Vicki says
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That applies to Judy Dench, too.

Thanks for the video from last year. I felt like I was riding along. The people mover is a must do. Last year when we were there it kept breaking down. Going again in September can’t wait to ride and listen to new dialogue. Love what you and your staff do. Thanks

Love it!!! this was long overdue and so needed, the previous one was boring and bland, this finally brings some theming back…someone finally gets it whoever was in charge. Now the monorail needs a new one like this, instead of that boring automated fake voice, and bring the spiel back that describes what your seeing out the windows like it use to.

It is surprising at some of the things Disney misses. This narration track for the PeopleMover has been lacking for years. It is about time someone started to repair some of these long lingering holes that exist in the general theming.
