Disney Cruise Line is known for its elaborate night-time deck parties, so we were excited to see a revamped, rock ‘n’ roll pirate party on the new Disney Wish.
Disney Cruise passengers are encouraged to dress up, and ARRRRR! talk like a pirate for the celebration, culminating with a stage show on deck and — shiver me timbers! — fireworks!
For Disney’s new megaship — The Wish — the classic Disney Cruise Pirate Night has been updated to the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party! Come along with the DFB team for all the Pirate’s Night fun!
We caught Mickey and Minnie dressed up in their pirate costumes as they were jumping on the elevators! Launching a new cruise ship sure keeps them busy.
Capt. Redd — who we’re told is a descendant of Redd, the pirate we see in the auction scene on the Pirates of the Caribbean attractions — hosts this show.
Redd and her band — the Head-Bangin’ Buccaneers — played familiar rock hits, as well as rock rendition of a song that may sound familiar to Disney fans — “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me).”
After Redd assembled a council of captains, the pirates unlocked a sparkling treasure — fireworks over the sea!

Hi there,
I’m going for a 3-night in October – so excited! Question – is there the special “pirate night” menu in all the restaurants that evening? I’m hoping no so we can enjoy the menus in each rotational dining room.
Thanks!
