Even though it’s only July,  we’re ALREADY planning for Halloween in the Disney parks!

Halloween Time!

Celebrations will kick off next month in Disney World, with the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party since 2019! Shortly after, Oogie Boogie Bash will begin in Disneyland Resort…but if you were hoping to visit and haven’t bought your tickets yet, we might have some bad news.

Oogie Boogie Bash tickets for 2022 went on sale for the general public on Thursday, June 30th. This year’s event will happen on 24 different nights throughout September and October, and as of this morning, ALL 24 nights are completely SOLD OUT. Disney posted an update on the website this morning saying that tickets were sold out, but encouraging guests to still visit Disneyland Resort during Halloweentime to enjoy Haunted Mansion Holiday and Mater’s Junkyard JamBOOree.

Oogie Boogie Bash also sold out last year, but it took much longer than five days for the event to do so. As a comparison, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets have been available in Disney World for more than a month, and so far, only Halloween night is sold out.

We’ll be attending Oogie Boogie Bash on opening night to bring you all the excitement! This year, guests will be able to enjoy interactive treat trails, special character appearances, and lots of live entertainment, including stage shows and the Frightfully Fun Parade.

Oogie Boogie Bash is coming back!

Oogie Boogie Bash starts at 6PM each night, but guests of the party are able to enter Disney California Adventure starting at 3PM. Many attractions will be open, including some with Halloween overlays, and there will be plenty of event-exclusive snacks to try out. We can’t wait to check it all out in a few months!
