We hope you’re hungry, because it’s time for another food booth review from the 2022 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! 🥳
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is running alllll the way until November 19th this year, and it’s a good thing, because there is a BUNCH of food to try! But, how do you know which food is worth your time, money, and stomach space? Well, that’s where we come in. We try out everything to tell you what’s great and what’s just “meh” at the festival. Now, we’re headed to the Brazil booth to see if it should be on your list of places you just HAVE to check out!
Menu
The Brazil booth is located between the Morocco and France pavilions in EPCOT’s World Showcase. The menu features a new item along with some returning favorites!
But, the menu is actually smaller than it was last year, interestingly enough (at least our cheese bread is still here!).
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up is the NEW Feijoada, which is Black Beans with crispy pork belly, Brazil nut pesto, and Ben’s Original Long Grain White Rice for $6.25. This snack is PACKED with flavor! It’s one of the most well-seasoned things we’ve had all day. You can taste the garlic and onion in the baked beans, and the basil and spices stand out in that pesto. All of the flavors complement the pork belly very well.
Some pork belly can be a little bit chewy, but this dish was NOT. It melted in our mouths! The rice was also well-cooked, and we thought that, as a whole, this snack tasted very authentic. You wouldn’t expect to get something this good in a theme park.
Next, we got one of our returning favorites — the Pão de Queijo, AKA Brazilian cheese bread, for $4.75. This item is gluten- and wheat-friendly, and it’s also a part of Emile’s Fromage Montage! Great news: this snack is every bit as delicious as we remembered.
The bread is super cheesy and tasty! Don’t expect normal bread when you get these — they’re so packed with cheese that the texture comes off a little bit gooey overall. There’s a great cheddar flavor and saltiness inside. We think that just about everyone will love these, as the flavors are very familiar and comfortable.
This is a great staple that we’ve had many times before. It’s soft, chewy, and cheesy — what’s not to love?!
Drinks
In terms of drinks, there is another one of our favorites over here – the Frozen Caipirinha with Cachaça for $11. This is a nice, cool, refreshing drink and honestly one of our fave cocktails at the festival!
There is also a Xingu Brazilian Black Lager available for beer drinkers at $5 for a 6 oz. pour and $9 for a 12 oz pour.
OVERALL
Although there are only 2 snacks at this stop, it seems like there’s something for everyone. The Pao de Queijo is a simple, delicious option for kids or anyone who likes more familiar flavors, and the Feijoada is a more adventurous and authentic snack! The Brazil booth is definitely not one to be missed.
