Many things have been reopening at Disney World lately, and even more is coming back soon!
More character dining is returning, meet and greets are back, and spots that have been closed for over 2 years are reopening. One of these spots is Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This is one of the (if not THE) nicest restaurants on property and is also one of the most expensive. The fine dining experience returns at the end of this month, and now, we’ve got a look inside the new interior design of Victoria & Albert’s!
Victoria & Albert’s has a new look and it’s much different than what it looked like before. Here’s what the main dining room looked like at the restaurant before the closure…
…and here’s what it looks like now! As you can see, there’s new carpet, tables, chairs, and details. You can also see the delicate scroll work around the room.
The Queen Victoria room also got a makeover to match. Here’s what it looked like before…
…and here’s the after! The space looks much lighter and brighter now.
There are some new chandeliers as well, like this one in the main dining room…
…and this one in the Queen Victoria room.
This restaurant reopens on July 28th, and there has been a price increase for each dining option! The Dining Room went from $185 to $295 per person, the Queen Victoria room went from $235 to $375 per person, and the Chef’s Table went from $350 to $425 per person.
Remember that this is a coursed meal with a set menu, and there is a strict dress code at the restaurant. We’ll make sure to update you if and when the official menus are released. If you want to make a reservation, you can do so now.

What a shame. We were going to take the whole family to WDW for our 20th and have a big anniversary dinner at Victoria and Alberts. Now that’s clearly out of the question so I’ll have to find a new anniversary trip idea.

That looks gorgeous! Can’t wait to get back.
Hope they keep the bread + butter pairings 🙂

So it’s called Victoria and Alberts…..and when we walked in 3 years ago the interior well represented the name of the restaurant. While the renovation is nice it looks like 2022 ……..so time to rename the place let’s call it Will and Kate .

That is the most obnoxious price hike to date. What a shame.

Beautiful work. Eventually everything needs an update and it was certainly time. The color palate is wonderful. Good work on this one.

I wonder what menu change is worth the increase of $100, $140, and $75 per person?? I get some price increases but this seems to be price gouging. Seriously, what meal for two could ever be worth $780 at the entry level (that’s accounting for tax and tip)? And you don’t get any say in the menu, soooo there’s definitely going to be some portions of the meal that aren’t agreeable to every palate. Considering the breakdown of the cost of each course, I wouldn’t be happy spending the money on courses I did not like especially when I know I can find much better meals and experiences tailored to suit my tastes for far less at Disney.

I won’t be going since I lost my Husband almost 2 years ago. I have fond memories of eating there three time. The last was 24 years ago when we renewed our wedding vows at the new Wedding Pavilion for out 25th anniversary. He made all the plans, vow renewal, Mickey & Minnie a total surprise for just the two of us. The harp reminds me of eating in the Empress Room on the Empress Lilly out in the shopping village more than 25 years ago. Anyone that has the opportunity to eat at Victoria & Alberts should. I don’t know if they still present you with a hand written menu and rose as well as a welcome in your hotel room, but if not they will still make it a wonderful experience, one I will never forget. The make over is Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Valerie – last time we went before the closure, they were still doing the rose. The menus are customized, but now printed, and not quite as nice as they once were.
And sorry to hear about your husband. If, on the off chance, you are ever in Disney World when we are there, you are welcome to dine with us… 🙂

@Robin – I imagine it will be like it was before with a set menu, but they call you ahead of time for accommodations. We’re vegetarians, with my daughter being lactose and gluten intolerant and some of us have an aversion to mushrooms, and they’ve always been very willing to work with us.
It seems as if they will continue to operate the way they always have..? I hope.
