Menu changes have hit Disney World restaurants left and right, and more are on the way.
At Magic Kingdom, we’ve seen treats go missing, new snacks arrive, and menus get overhauled. But now we’ve got some more menu change news for the Most Magical Place on Earth.
A few specialty cocktails will soon be added to the menus at certain Magic Kingdom restaurants. The new drinks will be available starting September 13th, 2022, though availability is limited and subject to change.
Here’s a look at the menu items that will soon be available:
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen
- Jungle Bird Cocktail — Gosling Black Rum, Campari, cane syrup, and pineapple and lime juices
- Golden Haze Margarita — Teremana Blanco Tequila, Grand Marnier, agave syrup, lime juice, and smoked chili bitters (this is a drink we’ve seen offered at Pop Century’s Petals Pool Bar in the past)
Liberty Tree Tavern and Diamond Horseshoe
- Gold Rush – Elijah Craig Bourbon, lemon juice, and honey, garnished with crystalized ginger
- Magical Beacon Cocktail – Created in celebration of the 50th Anniversary is this concoction of Empress 1908 Gin, Bols Blue Curaçao, Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, almond orgeat, lemon, hibiscus grenadine, and souvenir glow cube (This is a 50th Anniversary drink we’ve already sampled over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and elsewhere)
Alcohol started to be served in Magic Kingdom back in 2012, so it’s not as though serving alcohol in Magic Kingdom is particularly new, but this does mark the addition of a few more drinks at Magic Kingdom’s table service restaurants.
Many of the drinks currently available in Magic Kingdom are wines, beers, ciders, and champagne, though there are a select number of (often) beer or wine-based cocktails available too.
These drinks mark a more unique addition since they are mixed drinks with liquor.
