It’s the first night of Oogie Boogie Bash and we’re here checking everything out!
The party is happening now, and we’ve already seen some awesome costumes, merchandise, and even a few fun characters. Every single night of the after hours event is sold out, so it’s obviously very popular with Disney fans. These events are usually known for having lower crowds since they only have a limited-number of tickets available, but that’s not necessarily the case with Oogie Boogie Bash! Let’s take a look at the crowds from tonight’s event.
Oogie Boogie Bash officially starts at 6PM, but if you have a ticket, you can get into Disney California Adventure park starting at 3PM. We arrived around 3PM and noticed that it wasn’t too crowded at the entrance to the park.
After checking in, we walked around for a bit, and there were a decent amount of people out and about.
As it got closer to party time, there were pretty heavy crowds in some areas, but we figured that might have been because regular day guests were still in the park.
Once the party started, there were some VERY long lines to check out the characters in the Treat Trails!
A lot of people wanted to meet Ernesto de la Cruz.
We found even more people over waiting in line for Villains Grove…
…and in Pixar Pier.
Basically, there were a lot of long lines!
But, besides the lines, the crowds didn’t look too bad!
Certain areas looked more crowded than others, but when looking at wait times, they were very low. Most were between 5-15 minutes, with a few more popular rides having 20-30 minute waits.
There were a bunch of people around to watch the 7:45PM showing of the Frightfully Fun Parade, though!
And, after the parade, there were people EVERYWHERE!
It was pretty packed.
This might have been so crowded because it was the first showing of the parade, but just be warned!
The line to get into Villains Grove was still VERY long, too.
The line to meet the Sanderson Sisters was about an HOUR long!
Take a look!

A bunch of people wanted to see the witches, apparently!
