The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is taking place January 4th-8th, which marks 30 years of running! 

Every single race in Disney World is completely sold out, which means a lot of guests will be booking hotel rooms for this weekend. So, if you haven’t grabbed your hotel room yet — hurry and book!

February 23rd-26th — Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

Here’s another weekend that’s sure to book up fast! The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place February 23rd-26th and every single race is sold out. 

You don’t want to underestimate how fast hotel rooms book up on marathon weekends, y’all. You’ll regret it!

March and April — Spring Break

Now, Spring Break differs between districts (and states), which means you can usually expect to see tons of guests throughout March and April. And many of those guests are looking to book rooms at the same hotel as you!

Most school districts in Florida observe their Spring Break in March, so crowds may be heavier during that month. But remember, some other districts have Spring Breaks in April, so it’s best to just book those hotel rooms now — before it’s too late!

April 13th-16th — runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend

If you’re visiting the resort during this race weekend, you can expect to see some crowded parks! And what do crowded parks mean? That’s right, booked-up hotels. 

Now, the race isn’t entirely sold out quite yet, but we expect to see that change very soon. So, get ahead of the rush and book your hotel room before they’re gone!

100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company

Talk about a huge milestone! The Walt Disney Company is celebrating 100 years, which means you can expect to see a celebration take place around Disney World. We don’t have exact details but we could see this start being celebrated in September or October. The official anniversary is October 16th!

And, if you’re wanting to visit the parks for the celebration, you’ll want to book your hotel room ASAP! A lot of people attend celebrations at the resort (we can’t blame anyone, they’re fun), so hotel rooms will book up fast.

October 31st — Halloween

Halloween is always busy in the parks. Between Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (which we assume will return in 2023) and fall offerings, it makes sense for guests to celebrate the spooky occasion at the resort.

November 24th — Thanksgiving

We’re thankful for Disney World, so it makes sense to spend Thanksgiving in the resort!

November 24th is Thanksgiving, which always proves to be one of the busiest days of the year. Seriously, we’re urging you — get your Thanksgiving hotel room booked ASAP!

December 24th and 25th — Christmas Time
