MORE Testing Happening on The Walt Disney World Railroad

The Walt Disney World Railroad has quite literally been closed for YEARS.

The train used to travel in a circle around Magic Kingdom, but was temporarily put out of commission when Disney started building TRON. We still have no update from Disney on when the train might be back, but we’re seeing some encouraging signs in the park!

The train was testing today in Magic Kingdom! Take a listen in the video below (and wait for a fun surprise from some friends!).

So, we didn’t actually see the train doing anything, but we heard it! Could this mean the train could be coming back soon? We’ll have to wait and see.

We have seen more progress on the tunnel for the train over underneath TRON…

…and a look at the work happening on the tracks. But, we’ll still have to wait for Disney’s official announcement. We DO know that TRON should be opening in Spring of 2023, so we would think the train should be back by then, too!

But, keep in mind that we have heard and seen the train testing several times this year, and nothing has come of it yet.
