In case you missed it, EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival is in full swing! It lasts until November 19th, 2022, and psssttt — we have a secret to share.
After you sample all the new and returning eats and drinks (we’re partial to the Griddled Cheese from Greece or the Baked Scampi Dip from Coastal Eats), you might want to pay a visit to an exclusive SECRET lounge. So where is it and how do you get in? We’ve got all the deets!
Looking for a quiet spot to take a break during a busy day in EPCOT? Sponsored by Florida Blue Medicare, the Florida Blue Medicare Lounge is BACK at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and this year it underwent some changes. You can find this year’s lounge in the former location of Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion.
In 2021, the lounge was exclusively available only to Florida Blue members and their guests, but this year anyone can visit by applying for a guest pass. You can apply through the My Disney Experience app (just search “Florida Blue”) or by visiting the Florida Blue website. It’s totally free to apply!
In the app, just click the provided link and you will be taken to a separate website.
You can also learn more about the official sponsor, Florida Blue Medicare.
To apply for a guest pass you must provide your name, email, phone number, and date of birth, and you must be 18 or older. One form is required per party, so you don’t need to apply for individual passes for everyone in your group.
When you get to the lounge, show your lounge pass to the Cast Member at the door, and they’ll let you in! The lounge is open daily from 12PM to 6PM, and here’s what it looks like inside! There are plenty of spaces to sit and relax in the cool air conditioning.
The theme of the lounge is to “renew, refresh, and recharge.”
A refreshment table was also available to lounge guests. It’s all complimentary!
Choose from Cold Brew Coffee…
…Spa Water…
…and Moroccan Mint Tea.
Activities were also available for limited times when we visited, such as Henna Tattoos from 12:30PM to 2:30PM, and Live Watercolor Postcard Painting from 3:30PM to 5:30PM. There is a limit of one offering per guest.
So if you’re looking for a place to sit, cool down, or even take shelter from bad weather, you might want to apply for a guest pass to the Florida Blue Medicare Lounge! Keep following DFB for more Disney World news!

Since this was a 2022 article I don’t know if it’s still accurate… but I hope not. While a “lounge” of this type is a “nice to have” thing, our family would MUCH prefer the outstanding food & entertainment the former Restaurant Marakesh provided. We have wonderful memories from there & even though it wasn’t EPCOT’s most popular eatery, NOT reopening it will be a real shame & huge disappointment.
