There are a lot of exciting things coming up for Disneyland Resort, including a hotel that’s getting a makeover!
Paradise Pier
Paradise Pier Hotel is being re-themed to Pixar and will be called Pixar Place Hotel. Disney has said that the hotel will “weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting” and make it feel like you’ve stepped into a Pixar art gallery. And now, we have an update on these renovations happening at the hotel!
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is currently undergoing refurbishments that might affect your upcoming visit.
Disney said that “while we work our magic, the comfort and enjoyment of our guests is our top priority. Hotel amenities—including the direct entrance for hotel Guests into Disney California Adventure Park—will continue to remain open.”

They also said that the work that will most likely make the most noise will be happening only in daylight hours, so you don’t have to worry about being woken up in the middle of the night by construction. Disney said that guests will also have access to dining and recreation at the other Disneyland Resort hotels — Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the Disneyland Hotel.

Do note that parts of the sidewalk along Disneyland Drive and the hotel’s north side might be closed to guests and signs on street corners will provide instructions on where you should go.

Check-in at the hotel has also now moved to the Pacific Ballroom, with guests being required to enter from the hotel’s rear entrance. Also, Mickey in Paradise merchandise has been related to the Pacific Ballroom. It will be open from 7AM to 10PM daily with limited offerings for guests to purchase.
