Navigating the Festival
Don’t forget to pick up your free EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Passport!
They are available at the individual World Showcase food booths.
You can refer to this easy-to-carry guide throughout your time at the Festival and keep track of everything you taste and sip.
“Let Your Taste Be Your Guide!”
You’ll find a Digital Festival Guidebook in the My Disney Experience app, too.
There is also an interesting feature might be helpful to guests with food allergies or intolerances.
When you click the “View Allergy Friendly Menus,” you can find items that are friendly for guests with gluten/wheat, egg, soy, peanut/tree nut, milk, sesame, fish/shellfish and other allergies. (Please be aware that Disney states the following regarding the Global Marketplace Booths: “We use reasonable efforts in our food preparation and handling procedures to avoid the introduction of the most common allergens into your menu choices. While we take steps to prevent cross-contact, we do not have separate allergy-friendly kitchens and are unable to guarantee that a menu item is completely free of allergens.”)
More EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Events and Details
Free with EPCOT Admission
Free with EPCOT admission are the Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Festival Passport, and all EPCOT attractions and park entertainment. (Find our COMPLETE GUIDE to EPCOT here!)
Eat to the Beat Concerts
Throughout the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, popular bands from recent decades take the stage at the American Gardens Theatre in The American Adventure Pavilion for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
These concerts are free with EPCOT admission, and typically take place three times per evening — at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM.
In 2023, iconic bands and artists can be seen performing Fridays through Mondays, while local bands performed Tuesday through Thursday evenings.
The popular Eat to the Beat Dining Packages are an optional add-on that entitles guests to breakfast, lunch, or dinner at select EPCOT restaurants, and include same-day reserved seating at the Eat to the Beat Concert that evening.

Muppet Labs
A NEW experience made its debut in 2023 at Brew-Wing at the Odyssey. At this indoor booth, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker joined the festival (via video) as the taste-testers in residence, where they did some taste-testing the flavors of tomorrow and today! That’s right — Muppet Labs has come to EPCOT!
Disney called the new Muppet Labs an experience with “flavorful adventure, featuring the culinary creations — and madcap mishaps — of Muppet Labs!”
Here, guests could look out for some interesting new snacks, like the Unnecessarily Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings.
And don’t forget the Pickle Milkshake!
Fun for the Whole Family
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt
Guests can expect fun for the whole family at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival including Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt!
In this activity, you’ll go on a scavenger hunt in search of little Remy statuettes hidden all around the park.
The cost to participate in 2023 was $9.99 for your map and stickers to keep track of our little Chef pal.
And once you’ve completed your map marking everywhere you found Remy, you can collect your prize at one of the following shops: Creations Shop, World Traveler at International Gateway, or Disney Traders!
Click here for a Complete Guide to this Remy-themed adventure! (P.S. Spoiler Alert — this post includes pictures of Remy’s hiding spots.)
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, another family-friendly fall activity, made its debut in 2022. This scavenger hunt returned to the Festival from September 29th through October 31, 2023.
The pursuit works similar to Remy’s Scavenger Hunt, in that guests can purchase a game board and stickers at select merchandise locations (such as Creations Shop, Port of Entry, and World Traveler at the International Gateway).
Only THIS time, you’re searching for hidden PUMPKINS decorated based on Disney characters! The price in 2023 was $9.99.
Find a character, and simply place the corresponding stickers on your board. Next?
Receive your choice of a “spooky surprise” by turning in your board at Disney Traders!

Emile’s Fromage Montage
Pick up the suggested items as listed in the Festival Passport for Emile’s Fromage Montage, then receive a prize for completing this Cheese-themed Crawl! Guests can choose 5 cheesy dishes to complete the food crawl.
Remember, you do NOT have to eat ALL THE CHEESE in one day… unless you want to, of course. 😉
If you have a few days to enjoy the Festival, you can space out your five chosen items over the course of your visits.
The 2023 menu items and locations for Emile’s Fromage Montage were:

Once you’ve tried 5 of the 10 food items and collected your stamps in your Festival Passport, you can head on over to Shimmering Sips for a special prize!

See our review of Emile’s Fromage Montage here!
Festival Novelty Items and Gift Cards
A Food and Wine Festival Popcorn Bucket made its debut in 2023 at Popcorn Carts around EPCOT!
You can check out more details HERE!
Select Marketplace Food Booths in 2023 also sold the Festival-exclusive CORKCICLE Classic Tumbler.
It comes in your choice of pink or purple. Look for the CORKCICLE Classic Tumbler at the following Food Booths: Coastal Eats, India, Shimmering Sips, Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina, and Refreshment Port.
Worried about juggling your wallet or purse while doing a balancing act with your food and drinks from the Food Booths? You can get a wristlet/ring Disney Gift card at merchandise locations throughout the park!
These small gift cards function the same as a regular gift card, but you can strap it on your wrist to avoid having to dig through your wallet or purse while making your Festival food purchases. You can have it activated or loaded at a merchandise location with your desired amount, strap it on, and move towards your next Food Booth, ready to go!
Extra Festival FUN
Chef Daisy
Keep your eyes peeled for the always-stylish Daisy Duck, who often makes appearances near the International Gateway (between the United Kingdom and France pavilions) in her special Food & Wine Festival outfit!
Check the My Disney Experience app to see if Daisy is greeting guests in EPCOT while you’re there.
Mini Food and Wine Festival
If you think that you and us here at the DFB are the only ones excited about the Food and Wine Festival… think again!
If you’ve ever visited the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, you’ve probably noticed the tiny village in the pavilion that has its own miniature train running through it. This little village gets special banners added to its streetlamps for every festival, and now the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival banners have been added to it!
It’s a small touch, but also a great example of some of the extra magic you can enjoy throughout the event.
Food and Wine Festival-themed Nighttime Lighting at Spaceship Earth
In 2023, the musical light show was once again inspired by Beauty and the Beast — specifically, it’s themed to the song, “Be Our Guest!” The show begins when it gets dark outside and plays several times each night.
Food and Wine Festival Disney PhotoPass MagicShots
Disney PhotoPass Photographers can take what might seem like an ordinary shot and make it extraordinary with a touch of magic. You can catch photographers who are just waiting to transform your photos with NEW Magic Shots throughout the Food & Wine Festival!
Festival guests can take advantage of several different photo opportunities — including digitally enhanced MagicShots — all centered around food! Simply ask any Disney PhotoPass photographers about any Festival MagicShots they can take!
EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Special Events
From pairing meals around EPCOT to culinary demonstrations and beverage seminars, several high-end Special Events are often offered at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival! The examples below are from prior Festivals, as Special Events have been on hiatus for the past few years as Walt Disney World has continued in its phased reopening process from the unprecedented closures of 2020. We will update this page accordingly if any Special Events are announced for 2024! For now, we are keeping the Special Events information below for your future planning reference.
Party for the Senses is a fantastic EPCOT Food and Wine Festival treat when it is presented!
We look forward to events like Cheese Seminars as well — along with one of our favorite events of past years, the Mexican Tequila Lunch!
Celebrity Chefs
NOTE: Celebrity Chef appearances remained on hiatus for the 2023 Festival. We will update this page accordingly if any Celebrity Chef appearances are announced for 2024. For now, we are keeping the Special Events information below for your future planning reference.
Celebrity Chefs bring extra excitement to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. In previous years, we’ve seen such notables as Carla Hall, Buddy Valastro, and Jamie Deen (and more!) for the “Sunday Brunch with the Chef” series.
We’ll keep you posted on all culinary demos and premium events as well as Disney and visiting chefs in hopes that you can see your favorite chef in coming years!
Festival Merchandise and Novelty Items
Festival Merchandise Collections
A full range of Festival merchandise is available to commemorate your visit to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!
Various merchandise lines typically include the Festival Event Logo Collection.
Disney World Annual Passholders will also want to look out for the exclusive Annual Passholder Collection.
This line typically includes apparel, trading pins, and a MagicBand+. But the above is just a teeny glimpse. You can check out ALL of the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival merchandise HERE!
Click HERE for pics and prices of ALL the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival merchandise!
If you would like to gear up for your Festival adventures ahead of time, be aware that several pieces are often also available on shopDisney!
In addition, look for upscale collections like designer handbags, such as lines by Dooney & Bourke. These tend to sell out quickly, so be on the lookout for items you are interested in.
When shopping during the Festival, check the Creations Shop in World Celebration and World Traveler at the International Gateway.
You’ll also find other merchandise locations and kiosks around World Showcase, like the one you see pictured above.
Florida Blue Food & Wine Festival Lounge
In 2023, guests could register to access the free Florida Blue Medicare Lounge! Here, you can register to get access to a nice, cool (and very relaxed) spot that is away from the sun and the crowds. It’s located at the space for Restaurant Marrakesh tucked in the back of the Morocco Pavilion.
Typically, guests need to register for the lounge through the My Disney Experience app (just search “Florida Blue”) or by visiting the Florida Blue website, but it’s totally free.
Depending on the time of day that you visit and availability, you may also be able to get a wristband for seating at the Eat to the Beat concert series at the American Adventure Pavilion. According to a Cast Member, guests with a special wristband from the lounge must head to the brick building by the America Gardens Theater about 15 minutes before the concert to be led to their seats. Be sure to check with a Cast Member inside the lounge for more details!
