We’re making our way around the most wonderful festival of the year — the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays!
There’s plenty of exclusive merchandise and entertainment, but what we’re really here for are all the delicious eats and drinks from the festival food booths. And now, it’s time to head over to The Donut Box to see what they’re serving up this year!
Menu
The Donut Box is where you’ll find sweet snacks and more. You can grab your pick from a fun variety of holiday donuts and some unique gingerbread-inspired sips here! This year, there are two NEW donuts and two returning donuts, along with some returning drinks.
We were especially excited about the Croissant Donut with Cinnamon Sugar and the Holiday Yeast Donut with vanilla icing and red and white sprinkles!
Eats
Okay, let’s try these donuts!
It’s donut time! 🍩 We headed over to the Donut Box to get a…DONUT BOX! It’s a box of 4 donuts for $18. Check out the thread to see what we got ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/EZRMI8ENfI

Here’s a peek inside before we get started.
First up, we tried the new Croissant Donut with Cinnamon Sugar for $6. It’s essentially a mix between a croissant and a donut, and that sounds like a match made in heaven.
We were super impressed with this donut! It was crispy and soft at the same time. It had a really great texture because the layers are so thin! As for the flavor, it reminded us a lot of a snickerdoodle cookie.
We also checked out the new Holiday Yeast Donut with vanilla icing and red and white sprinkles! You can grab this donut for $5. How festive does this baby look?!
So this was basically just a plain vanilla donut with some sprinkles. It was good, but we probably wouldn’t get it again just because it’s very basic and something you can find in most donut shops. But, if you have a picky eater, this is a good choice!
We also grabbed the returning Chocolate Peppermint Donut while you’re here! It’s topped with chocolate frosting, crush candy cane sprinkles, and a mini candy cane for $5. We’ve LOVED this one when we’ve had it in the past!
And, we loved it again! The milk chocolate was melty and the peppermint wasn’t too strong. It reminded us of a peppermint mocha drink! It has a TON of chocolate on top, too. Kids will probably be a fan of this one, and anyone who enjoys that chocolate and peppermint combo!
And finally, grab the Eggnog-Cream-filled Donut with Cinnamon Icing and Crumbled Gingersnap Cookies for $5. This is another returning favorite that we really enjoyed when we tried it last year!
This was really delicious again, and the ginger snaps reminded us of a slightly sweeter graham cracker cookie. It’s a very cake-y donut, which we enjoyed, and it’s super sweet. This has a custard in it that doesn’t have a super strong eggnog flavor — it tasted more like a regular custard to us! It kind of reminded us of a Boston Cream Pie donut, just minus the chocolate.
You can also get all four of these donuts as part of the new Donut Box offering for $18! So, if you order them all at once you save $3.
Drinks
You’ll also find quite a few drinks on the menu at the Donut Box as well. The Gingerbread Milkshake is a returning sweet treat you can grab for $4.50. You can also get it with whipped cream vodka for $11.50!
This is absolutely delicious! It’s wonderfully creamy and has a strong cinnamon flavor. This tasted just like a gingerbread cookie to us! People who love cinnamon and gingerbread should definitely check this one out. But, if you don’t like those flavors, steer clear.
Gingerbread is the name of the game for drinks at the Donut Box — you can pick up the Coppertail Brewing Co. Gingerbread Stout for $5.50 for the 6 oz and $9.50 for the 12 oz. This is your typical dark stout beer, but with all those gingerbread flavors you’d expect. We tried a similar bear last year, and it reminded us of Guinness and coffee!
If you’re not a gingerbread fan, you’re unfortunately out of luck when it comes to drinks at this booth! But, don’t worry, there are plenty of other sips to try at the festival.
Overall
Head to The Donut Box if you’re looking for some delicious donuts and gingerbread drinks! If you have a sweet tooth, this is the spot for you. It could be a tasty breakfast, or a nice sweet treat in the middle of the day (or dessert after dinner!). There are some unique donuts here, but also some that are more familiar to people, so there’s a little something for everyone!
