Disney has a NEW animated movie out in theaters, but soon you’ll be able to watch it from home!
Strange World follows a family of legendary explorers as they “navigate an uncharted, treacherous land alongside a motley crew.” We’ve already seen a preview of the film offered in Disney World and merchandise released for the movie. But now we have BIG news!
Strange World will be available to watch from home on Disney+ on December 23rd.

The cast also includes Lucy Liu and Jaboukie Young-White. The movie was “helmed” by director Don Hall, who you’ll recognize from his work with Big Hero 6 and Raya and the Last Dragon.

I had really hoped that this film would have had a S.E.A. connection. There is a tremendously rich narrative for that group, plus it would have soft tied into the Disneyland treehouse refurb.
