What does your dream Disney vacation look like?
If it involves lounging poolside with a drink in your hand, experiencing world-class entertainment, and sailing to new destinations — the Disney Cruise Line may be for you! We recently sailed on the Disney Dream, and have been sharing bits of our trip. But now, it’s time to take a tour of a Disney Dream stateroom!
The Disney Dream features plenty of different types of staterooms, some with ocean views or verandas, some without, and some that will cost you some SERIOUS dough!
We stayed in a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Veranda, so that’s what we’ll be taking a tour of here. But first, can we talk about how gorgeous the atrium on this ship is?
But, the rest of the ship is pretty luxurious feeling too — even in those loooooong hallways.
Our room was located on Deck 10, and luckily you’ll find plenty of directories located all throughout the ship so you can know where you’re going!
When you get to your room for the first time on a Disney Cruise, you’ll find your Key to the World card located above your room number. This is how you’ll enter your room and do other various things onboard the ship.
Here’s a look at what you see when you enter the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Veranda. It seems pretty spacious, but these rooms are technically designed to sleep up to four — which could get a bit crowded!
You’ll find the bathroom located just past the entrance, with a separate door for privacy. There’s a shower, toilet, and a pretty small vanity area with a sink and mirror.
The first section of this stateroom is where you’ll find the bed, along with built-in nightstands on either side. There are also lamps, outlets, and USB chargers on either side of the bed.
And occasionally, you just might find a pretty cute critter and some candy on your bed too! We’re pretty sure this is a walrus or a seal, but what do you think?!
Here’s a look at some of the cute Disney details in the room — look at those little Mickey heads on the lamp!
You’ll also find some Disney-themed artwork on the wall…
…just above the pull-out couch that sleeps two! We opted for some meats and cheeses for our arrival, and that’s what you’ll find on the table here!
And finally, the BEST part about this stateroom — the VIEW! It’s not a huge balcony, but it is relatively private and has enough space for two lounge chairs and a small table. Perfect for drinking some morning coffee or having an evening cocktail!
We can’t get over these views! To learn more about the Disney Dream and Disney Cruise Line, check out our posts below:
