Clear your Saturday schedules — something NEW is coming to Disney World that you might want to check out!
Disney Springs is an already popular spot thanks to its many stores, incredible restaurants, and FREE access (no park ticket or park pass needed, and parking is totally FREE). But it’s about to get even MORE popular.
If you’ve got some kiddos, Disney Springs will soon be THE place to be for free kid-friendly entertainment. Disney has announced that a NEW offering called the Disney Springs Kids Club will be available on Saturday mornings starting January 28th.
Though it is called a “Kids Club” Disney has shared that it’ll be an entertainment offering for the whole family to enjoy together.
Basically, on Saturday mornings, there will be “high-energy” performers encouraging families to get up on their feet in Disney Springs. These will be family-friendly performances that will vary each week, and you can expect new entertainment to be added from time to time.
Kicking things off will be the Wassalou Drum Circle, an Afropop band that you may have already seen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The whole family will be able to pick up bongos, maracas, and more as you dance along to the music.
More of a jump rope fan? Check out Flight Crew Jump Rope (when available) where you’ll experience a “high-energy dance party” with “dazzling jump-rope routines and thrilling acrobatics.” The crew will even let you join in on the fun so you can jump along.
Also included in the Kids Club is DJ Katie “KD Queen.” She’ll host games, singalongs, hula hoop, limbo, and more. So warm up those pipes!
Again, the Disney Springs Kids Club will be offered every Saturday morning. You’ll find it at Waterview Park (near Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar) starting at 10:30AM. Showtimes appear to be 10:30AM, 11:15AM, and 12PM.
Remember that the offerings for each kids club date may vary, so not all of the above entertainment may be necessarily available on any given date, and acts can vary. The Disney Springs calendar only seems to list Wassalou on January 28th, so it’s possible other acts will come on future dates.
