With all the new updates happening in the parks at Disney World, it can be easy to forget all the new things coming to Disney World’s Resort hotels!

Resort hopping can be such a great way to relax, shop, and try some new foods while at Disney World. This is something we do often and definitely recommend! So, what’s new at Disney World hotels right now? Let’s go find out!
Polynesian Construction Updates
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been under some serious construction for a while now as new Disney Vacation Club villas are built. Last time we were here, we noticed some new equipment as well as some large pools of water from the rain.

Now, we notice that there’s even more equipment and it seems like more ground is being prepared to build yet another villa!

We also saw where a sort of opening had been dug into the sand. We wonder what will go here? In the photo, you can see more of where the ground has been flattened to lay the foundation for more villas!

More building materials have also been brought in, including these pipes.

We can’t wait to watch along as more construction takes place! It’s always amazing to see how quickly things are built at Disney.
Magic Kingdom Resort Signage Update
Take a look at the new signs we spotted! These all new blue Magic Kingdom resort signs replace the purple and red signs we’re used to.

the blue signs look so much better! Plus they’ve already installed the blue signs for Starcruiser and a few others months if not over a year ago. so so much better!
I prefer the older sign colors. The new looks so dull while the older signs look much more festive.
Noooo😭. I love the purple and red signs- to me it’s a symbol that we reached our Disney bubble!!! I don’t want Disney property to have a sign you could see back home.
