Greetings from EPCOT!
The 2023 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has kicked off and we’ve got a LOT to do. There are plenty of food booths with eats and drinks, unique topiaries to admire, shopping to do, and even concerts to see. We’re checking it all out, but first, let’s grab some eats at Primavera Kitchen!
Menu
There are not one, not two, but THREE new eats at this booth for this year’s festival, but all the drinks are returning.
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! The Italy booth hasn’t always impressed us at the EPCOT festivals, so let’s see how the eats stack up this year.
Eats
The first new dish we’re trying at Primavera Kitchen is the Caesar con Gamberett. It’s made with baby gem lettuce, shrimp, Caesar dressing, and crispy bread crumble for $7.57. It looks pretty refreshing, but let’s see how it tastes!
This is basically shrimp with a lettuce garnish — salad is a loose term. However, if you get a good bit of baby shrimp, it does have a nice dressing, and the crispy breadcrumbs give it a good crunch.
For something a little bit heartier, we picked up the Tortelloni Primavera for $9.75. It’s made with spinach tortelloni, sweet butter, pancetta, corn, peas, and fava beans. We’ve had some stellar pasta dishes and some not-so-stellar pasta dishes from this booth in the past, so we were really hopeful for this tortelloni.
We loved the ravioli! The spinach was not overpowering, it was super cheesy, and we loved the saltiness of the pancetta. The veggies didn’t add a ton of flavor but did contribute to the substance of the dish. Definitely a favorite this year!
And, of course, we couldn’t leave this booth without getting the new dessert. The Budino alle Nocciole is a chocolate-hazelnut pudding with cookie crumbles for $6.75. What could go wrong?
Kids will LOVE the pudding in this one. They will also love the crumbled dirt and gummy worm. It’s a simple, straight-forward chocolate pudding served in a really fun way!
PHEW! And now, to wash it all down…
Drinks
A classic drink from this booth is the Italian Margarita made with limoncello and tequila for $12. This one is a very strong drink, and it’s been a big hit with us in the past! This year was no different.
This margarita is very tart, yet somehow really sweet! It’s similar to a limoncello with simple syrup. It’s not strong, so could be a very refreshing drink for those who like lemonade.
You can also grab the Peroni Pilsner, which is $6.50 for a 6 oz pour and $11 for a 12 oz pour.
Plus, this is where you can find Italian White or Red Sangria with prosecco for $12 each. In the past, we’ve preferred the drier Red Sangria because the white has been too sweet for us. Both are nice and fruity!
And finally, there’s a Prosecco here for $11.50 and a Moscato for $12.
Overall
While the festival booths in the Italy Pavilion can be hit or miss, we thought Primavera Kitchen was a hit with us this year and certainly one not to be missed in your plans to visit.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a lot more where that came from!

That Tortelloni Primavera looks delicious! I was just there yesterday and wanted to try it but didn’t have the time…or any room left in my stomach from all of the other delicious treats! Any chance you guys have/can get the recipe?
