Think you know EVERYTHING there is to know about EPCOT? Well, if you haven’t been to EPCOT lately, you might be missing out on one exciting thing!
The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is taking place right now (it runs through July 5th). As part of the Festival, you can eat all kinds of food, try unique drinks, grab fun merchandise, see great concerts, and go on a scavenger hunt that’ll have you chasing a bee around the park. But did you know that there’s ANOTHER limited-time experience in EPCOT that has popped up for the spring? Here’s what you need to know!
For a limited time, the Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt has returned to EPCOT! What on earth is an Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt, you ask? We’ll tell you!
During this experience, you’ll first pay for an Egg-Stravanga Scavenger Hunt map. It’s priced at $9.99 (plus tax) and can be bought in a few different shops. We got ours at Creations Shop but also spotted them at World Traveler, Port of Entry, and Disney Traders, so look around!
The map lists several locations in EPCOT where unique, Disney-themed Easter eggs have been hidden.
On the back, you’ll find stickers representing all of the eggs that you’ll need to find.
Some of these characters are ones you’ll likely recognize from popular Disney films (like the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland), but others are MUCH more obscure. Have you ever heard of the Jackalope?! You will have if you’ve seen the short film Boundin’ which is all about a mythical jackalope that helps a sheep gain some confidence through dance. No, that’s not a joke. It’s REAL.
With your map and stickers in hand, you’ll set off on a quest throughout EPCOT to find where these eggs have been hidden. Once you find an egg in a particular country or location, you’ll take the sticker themed to that character and place it on the map in the correct location.
We won’t say where we found these eggs (we don’t want to give away too many spoilers!) but will give you just a peek at some of these egg-celent friends. Here’s a quick look at Skippy…
…Thumper…
…Miss Bunny…
…the March Hare…
…Oswald the Lucky Rabbit…
…The White Rabbit (we have a feeling he’s late for a very important date)…
…Bean Bunny…
…Alec Azam…
…and the Jackalope!
You’ll really want to search high and low for these eggs!
Once you’ve searched for the eggs, placed the stickers where they belong, and finished up your map, take it over to Disney Traders or World Traveler — that’s where you’ll collect your PRIZE! The prize is your pick of 1 unique Disney-themed egg.
The egg themes include Robin Hood…
…Marie the cat…
…The Genie…
…Dopey…
…one of the adorable pups from 101 Dalmatians…
…or the Cheshire Cat!
Along with the design on the front, each egg also has a fun design on the back that matches the character. Here are the backs of the eggs themed to Robin Hood…
…Marie…
…The Genie…
…Dopey…
…Patch…
…and the Cheshire Cat.
Whether that prize is worth the $10 is up to you, but it is a unique activity that’ll keep kiddos and adults entertained throughout their trip around World Showcase and give them the chance to get a prize.
If you just want to BUY some Disney-themed eggs (without paying for the scavenger hunt experience), you can do that too. ALL guests (including those who did not pay for the Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt) can pay to buy sets of 3 eggs themed to The Lion King…
…or Zootopia.
These could be great to pick up for a friend or family member who celebrates Easter and will be hosting an Easter egg hunt of their own this year. These sets are $14.99 each. We found them at World Traveler.
We also spotted an Egg-Stravaganza Pin available for purchase in EPCOT. So what do you think? Would you pay $10 for an egg-sclusive prize or skip and just admire the eggs from afar? Tell us in the comments! If you do want to participate in this activity, note that it is available now (it began on March 13th) and will continue to be available for a limited time (maps and prizes are only available while supplies last).

I think the scavenger hunt would be fun and I would like to do that, but I wouldn’t buy the set of eggs.
