In early April, we were looking at some of the most EXPENSIVE Genie+ prices we’ve ever seen in Disney World. We’re talking a hefty $35 per person, per day price tag to use Disney’s Genie+ service to skip the lines. Ouch!
Luckily, it seems like we’re out of the woods for now — we noticed another price decrease at Disney World!
On April 15th, the price of Genie+ dropped from $35 to $25. Now, as of April 16th, Genie+ is down to $20 per guest! The last time we saw a price this low was on March 8th when the Genie+ price was $20 — so it’s been over a month since we’ve seen this price!
We also noticed that some of the Individual Lightning Lane prices are less expensive than they were just one day ago. Star Wars Rise of The Resistance is $20 (previously $25), Flight of Passage is $14 today (previously $16), Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is $15 (previously $17), and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is $11 today (previously $12). You could buy a handful of Mickey bars with all those savings!
Disney is still charging $20 per person for TRON Lightcycle / Run Lightning Lanes, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes on the price to see if it drops!
Between the lower average wait times for Disney’s popular attractions and the extra breathing room we have in the parks, it’s safe to say that the Spring Break crowds are officially gone!

We paid $15 for Genie + several times in January, February, and March this year.

Or they can just rid of Genie + and bring back Fast Pass +. I used to go to Disney several times a year, but have not been back since they instituted Genie +, after having such a bad experience in the parks as a non Genie + holder. I refuse to pay such a ridiculous price for my whole party to “maybe” get on a few rides faster. Disney needs to bring back their magic!

Geez on top of 259. Entrance that’s a real bargain!
Mrs. M says
My last trip to DW was the week before they closed for the pandemic. With the horrible changes and even more horrific prices, like these pricing games they play with Genie+, I’m not about to step foot into any park at Disney. I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere. The magic is definitely gone.

Hear, hear, Dr. M!! You are right on!
Tim Schulze says
This is one of the greatest rip offs presented to the general public no matter what the price. You already need to buy an admission ticket you should not be charged any more to ride the rides in a timely fashion.
Bring back the Fast Pass and stop trying to make sure only those with lots of cash can ride the rides.

It was not very long ago you could book 3 fast passes a day, 4-6 weeks out you would get a welcome letter, magic bands, conf for the magic bus . Extra magic hours for all on site guests , package delivery. When got home a thank you letter and a nice picture.
Now ZERO.. NO MORE

We paid $18 on Saturday!

THEY COULD MAKE IT FREE and it would still be a major PITA.

PS Agree that FP+ was great. I will not be happy until they bring that back, or a reasonable variation.
