There have been a lot of changes recently at Disney World.
We started seeing more Disney100 signs put up around the parks like the one above at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. A whole area is reopening at Hollywood Studios. Moana is now meeting guests at Animal Kingdom, and a new Dooney and Burke collection was released in the parks. There is one more BIG change at EPCOT coming on May 14th.
Before we get into the change coming, check out our EPCOT checklist. It’s a free downloadable file that has a complete checklist of all there is to do and see at EPCOT. Just enter your email and we’ll send it right to you.
Alright, back to the big change that is coming. Akershus will once again be open for breakfast and lunch starting May 14th! Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a character dining restaurant located in Norway in the World Showcase. Here you can enjoy a meal and meet some of the Disney Princesses.
A full menu was revealed, so we know we can expect Norwegian waffles, pastries, potato casserole, and more for breakfast. We also know that it will cost $53 per adult and $34 per child (3-9).
We do know that some princesses will be there as they are for dinner currently. While there is no set list of which Princesses will be there, here are a few you might see: Ariel, Aurora, and Snow White. During character dining, guests can take photos with the princesses and get their autographs as well.
Advance dining reservations are recommended for this restaurant and they are open for booking for breakfast and lunch now. If you are wanting to meet a variety of princesses without having to wait in line, this might be a good option for you. For more Disney food news, be sure to follow us at DFB.

Thomas Welsh says
The “Hotbort” and “Coldbort” at Akershus were excellent; sort of a Norwegian Crystal Palace. Since it went “princess,” we have not been back, and won’t be!
