Disney just announced that you can celebrate Children’s Day on May 5th at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in the EPCOT World Showcase with a very special activity!

Now, what is Children’s Day? Well, Children’s Day is known in Japanese as “Kodomo no Hi” and is a Japanese holiday where the happiness and well-being of children are celebrated. Many Japanese families will display carp-shaped kites and samurai helmets to symbolize strength and perseverance.
If you’re looking for a fun activity to try with your kids, head to the Japan Pavilion! It’s not every day someone will hand you a skillfully made origami hat, after all!
