When the sun sets over Cinderella Castle and a cool breeze runs through the air, our ghoulish friends come out to celebrate Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s not every day you get to see those Haunted Mansion ghosts outside the famous attraction, but even ghosts love the Boo to You Halloween parade! Between the rare character appearances, special Halloween treats, and beloved nighttime parade, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a POPULAR event.
When we say it’s a popular event, we aren’t kidding. As a separately ticketed nighttime event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has limited availability, and tickets are selling out! Here’s a look at ALL the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates that have sold out for the 2023 Halloween season.
UPDATE: As of October 12th, 2023, tickets are only available for November 1st — all other party dates are SOLD OUT.
This year, Disney announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place between August 11th and November 1st.
Tickets went on sale back in April, and in the past, the event has been completely sold out by mid-September.
Typically, the dates closest to Halloween tend to sell out first. This year, we saw Halloween night, October 31st, sell out first, but more dates were soon to follow. If you don’t already have your tickets for those sold-out party dates, you will be unable to attend this year. Note that you can check with Cast Members on the day of your visit to see if any last-minute tickets might be sold at the door, but it is not guaranteed that these tickets will be available. We’ve seen tickets sold at the door for previous years’ parties, but remember that nothing is guaranteed.
The party runs from 7PM to midnight, with guests able to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4PM. Keep in mind that the party doesn’t happen every night — only select nights between August 11th and November 1st.
This is a VERY popular event, so if you want to attend the Halloween party this year, check to see what dates are still available before planning your trip; availability is limited (and selling out FAST!).
We will continue to update this post as more dates sell out, so stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more. And if you’re attending the Halloween party this year, have a spooktacular time!

Are you planning to attend the Halloween party this year? Let us know in the comments!
Kristy says
Yes! We are attending September 26th! 🎃
Sylvia says
Do we have to purchase a park entrance ticket on top of the Halloween Party pass?
Lauren says
Going for my first time this year!!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Sylvia! You won’t need a regular park ticket if you buy the Halloween Party ticket. You’ll be allowed into the park around 4pm so you even have extra time before the party officially begins. If you’re wanting to arrive any earlier than that and spend the first part of the day in the park, however, you’d need a park ticket as well.
Gabriel says
Could you kindly share more details on the last minute sales? I will only be able to attend on August 15th but it is already sold out 😩
DFB Gigi says
Hi Gabriel. Unfortunately, there’s not much to share. Sometimes they release extra tickets the day of the party, but not all the time. The only thing you can do is check that day to see if any are available.

Hello DFB,
Love your site.
Will you be updating this article
“EVERY SOLD OUT Date for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World”
with more dates that have been sold out. I would be interested to know if the date I
have tickets for has been sold out. (Sunday 10/29/23)
Thank You
Kenneth
DFB Gigi says
Hi Kenneth! October 29th is not sold out yet as of today, 8/25/23 at 9:16am EST.
Andy says
Hi! Thanks for all the helpful info. Just looking to clarify this: Is it normal to go to the park the day of and purchase a ticket for Mickeys Halloween even though it shows SOLD OUT online??
Thanks!!!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Andy! We have seen them open up ticket availability on sold out dates a few years back when people weren’t doing a lot of traveling and there were park capacity restrictions, but we haven’t seen that recently. Once it’s sold out, there aren’t likely going to be any options to purchase a ticket. We always recommend getting your tickets as soon as possible, but if you’re going to be there anyway it never hurts to ask just in case.
