Forget words of affirmation, physical touch, or quality time…our love language is BREAD.
Is there really anything better than stuffing the delicious carby treat in your mouth after you’ve slathered it in butter or jam? (Even better if it’s hot out the oven!) Thankfully, Disney World really gets us. We’re convinced Disney restaurants have made it their personal mission to outdo each other with their bread offerings, and we’re certainly not complaining. But after trying dozens (maybe even hundreds) of breads around Disney World, we’re here to tell you which ones are the BEST!
Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen
For our first stop, we’re heading to Magic Kingdom to talk about something that a lot of people probably don’t know about — the Pao de Queijo at Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. This bread is a secret menu item, so you’ll have to know about it to order it, but it’s a delicious option served with chimichurri cream cheese.
Known also as “Brazilian Cheese Bread” these little balls of bread are soft and cheesy on the inside and are a favorite of ours when it comes to appetizers at this restaurant. If you like the Pao de Queijo served at the Brazil booth during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, then you absolutely have to try this!
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
Heading over to EPCOT, you KNOW we have to stop in the France Pavilion if we’re going to talk about bread. And of course, one of the best spots to enjoy some fresh bread is at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie — there you can get an ENTIRE baguette for just $3.95. Yum!
Next door at Chefs de France, the bread service before the meal also comes with a full baguette (although it’s not quite as big as the one at Les Halles). There’s just something about that crispy outside and soft interior on this giant roll that makes us feel like we’re really having a relaxing afternoon in France.
‘Ohana
But if you want some of the best bread in Disney World, you’ll need to dine at some of the resorts! One of our favorite options is the Fresh-Made Pineapple Coconut Breakfast Bread at ‘Ohana. It really fits the tropical vibes of the resort and the character breakfast where you can meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.
For dinner, you can try the Signature ‘Ohana Bread, which comes with honey butter on the side. It’s also a delicious option that sometimes gets overshadowed by other favorites on the menu, like the bread pudding and the noodles.
Sanaa
Of course, we couldn’t make this list without talking about the iconic Indian-Style Bread Service at Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Kidani Village. It’s $21 and comes with five different breads and nine accompaniments. When it comes to bread services in Disney World, this one is the KING!
However, you can also order similar (but a little smaller) bread services at Tiffins, Nomad Lounge, and Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. You could eat SO much naan, you guys!
Cape May Cafe
At Cape May Cafe, you can enjoy a beachy breakfast character meal with Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy. The food is served on a buffet, but when you arrive to dine, you’ll have these Salted Caramel Beach Buns brought to your table.
BOY were these things good! They’re served with a delicious vanilla cream sauce to pour over the top and dusted with powdered sugar. It’s like starting breakfast out with dessert, y’all!
Ale & Compass
Next door at Disney’s Yacht Club, we’ve got two restaurants to mention. First up is Ale & Compass, where there’s a bread service on the appetizer menu for $13. The Parker House Rolls come with a variety of spreads, and last time, we were given Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter spreads.
With these different spreads, you can enjoy some classic bread with citrus, savory, or sharp flavors. You could even mix and match the flavors if you’re feeling bold! (We’re big fans of the cheese and bacon spreads together.)
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Nearby at Yachtsman Steakhouse, the bread service includes Dark Cherry Multigrain Sourdough and Onion Pull-Apart Rolls. These are served with roasted garlic and butter sprinkled with Hawaiian sea salt.
Some truly fancy bread to match the definitely upscale vibe of this restaurant! You won’t find roasted garlic as an accompaniment in many places in Disney World, so head here if you’re a fan.
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
Ready for a hootin’ and hollerin’ good time? Head on down to Disney World’s dinner show — the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Here, the bread service is a classic cornbread.
This delicious starter comes with honey butter and a spectacular show. (They also have cornbread-crusted macaroni and cheese on the menu!)
Whispering Canyon
Over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, you can find the House-made Buttermilk-Cheddar Biscuits which are served with sausage gravy at Whispering Canyon’s breakfast.
They’re cheesy, soft, and oh-so-yummy. What’s not to like?! Be warned — if you start with these, you might not want to stop and snack on the rest of your all-you-care-to-eat skillet.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
For our last few stops, we’re going to Disney Springs! And speaking of biscuits, we NEED to tell you about the Thigh-High Chicken Biscuits at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. You can order the cheddar cheese drop biscuits on their own at brunch for $9 or get the appetizer version for $19 at lunch and dinner.
The appetizer is made with three biscuits topped with Chef Art’s famous fried chicken thighs and bread and butter pickles. They’re all drizzled with hot honey. Is your mouth watering too?!
Raglan Road
Now, this one is a little bit iffy…so it seems based on our last visit. Previously, we were given complimentary Irish Soda Bread and a bread-dipping sauce made of a Guinness Reduction and Olive Oil during our visits to Raglan Road in Disney Springs. However, during our last visit, we didn’t get ANY!
When we’ve had the bread in the past, we really love the dipping sauces that come along with it — you could even buy bottles of it in the gift shop. Here’s to hoping we get bread again during our next visit!
The Boathouse
And last but not least, we’re heading next door to The Boathouse. Here, you get basic dinner rolls, but they’re some of the softest and fluffiest we’ve ever had, and they’re also topped with honey butter.
They come with a classic butter in a ramekin on the side, and during our last visit, we had to stop ourselves from eating too many before our meal. If you just want a really delicious roll that’s included with your meal…this is the place to go!

There are too many great breads in WDW including these and many others. One is the giraffe bread at Jiko! Another — not served alone but as a sandwich — is the fabulously fresh, soft bread Columbia Harbour House uses for its lobster roll!

You left LeCellie! Shame on you!
