Fireworks are a super huge deal in Disney World!
Recently, Magic Kingdom went back to their Happily Ever After fireworks show, and EPCOT has returned to EPCOT Forever. However, if you’re in Magic Kingdom tonight or soon, you need to know that fireworks times are changing!
Starting tonight, May 14th, Happily Ever After fireworks will begin at 9:20PM instead of 9PM.
As summer approaches, nighttime shows often get later since the sun doesn’t set until later in the evening.
At this time, EPCOT Forever is still taking place at 9PM, but stay tuned to DFB — we’ll let you know if and when that changes!
Avoid THESE mistakes in Magic Kingdom now that the fireworks have changed!

For the Halloween shows, is there a different dtart time or is same nasic 9pm time?
DFB Gigi says
Hi David! On Halloween Party days there isn’t usually a fireworks show because non-party guests are asked to leave the park at 6pm. There will be a fireworks show during the Halloween party that you may be able to catch glimpses of depending on which resort you’re staying in.

Man that means you don’t get out of the park until at least 10pm (if you are very lucky). If you drove there, that means getting on a ferry or monorail to the TTC, then a tram to your car. As a local, when we stay to watch the fireworks (at 9pm) we didn’t get home until close to midnight, and we live about 20 minutes from MK. I don’t think we’ll be seeing the fireworks too often anymore.
